That same day, Sanlih Television’s general manager, Kao Ming-Hui, issued an official statement requiring Gong Meifu to step aside from his position in order to cooperate with the judicial investigation. Kao also confirmed that the company had handed over internal investigative materials to the Shilin District Prosecutors’ Office. She reiterated Sanlih’s “zero tolerance for sexual harassment” policy and pledged to safeguard workplace safety.
