《蒼鷺與少年》（The Boy and the Heron）於2023年7月14日在日本上映，由吉卜力工作室製作，宮崎駿擔任導演和編劇。故事講述在二戰中失去母親的少年牧真人與會說人類語言的蒼鷺相遇後展開的冒險故事。該片改編自日本作家吉野源三郎於1937年推出的《你想活出怎樣的人生》小說，探討歧視、偏見、勇氣及霸凌等議題。

在美國加州當地時間1月7日的金球獎頒獎典禮上，《蒼鷺與少年》成功擊敗「蜘蛛人：穿越新宇宙」（Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse）、「元素方城市」（Elemental）、「超級瑪利歐兄弟電影版」（The Super Mario Bros. Movie）、「鈴芽之旅」（Suzume）和「星願」（Wish），贏得最佳動畫片獎。

由於金球獎的評審委員與奧斯卡金像獎高度重疊，日本國寶級的動畫大師宮崎駿有機會繼2003年的《神隱少女》（Spirited Away）後再次獲得奧斯卡最佳動畫片獎。

"The Boy and the Heron," released in Japan on July 14, 2023, and produced by Studio Ghibli with Hayao Miyazaki serving as director and screenwriter, tells the adventurous story of a young boy named Makoto who loses his mother during World War II and encounters a heron that can speak human language.

The film is an adaptation of the 1937 novel "你想活出怎樣的人生" (How Do You Live?) by Japanese author Gensaburō Yoshino, exploring themes of discrimination, prejudice, courage, and bullying.

At the Golden Globe Awards held on January 7 in California, "The Boy and the Heron" triumphed over films such as "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse," "Elemental," "The Super Mario Bros. Movie," "Suzume," and "Wish," winning the award for Best Animated Feature.

Given the significant overlap between the judging panels of the Golden Globe Awards and the Oscars, there is a chance for the revered Japanese animation master, Hayao Miyazaki, to once again secure the Oscar for Best Animated Feature, following his win in 2003 for "Spirited Away."
