經典的仙俠劇《花千骨》歷經四年拍攝，電影於2024年1月20日上映，然而第四天的票房未能達到500萬人民幣。導演張超正式在頻道上發表道歉，表示：“奔走于熱愛，相遇于今朝，感謝與歉意，千言萬語不足表，但電影花千骨仍期待可以給我們一個機會，與您相見。”

許多影迷將電影版與電視劇作對比，原本的主要演員陣容幾乎全面更換。霍建華和趙麗穎，曾在2015年憑藉這部作品成功晉升一線演員，當時的播放量高達187億觀看。

Many netizens criticized the special effects being worse than those of the TV series nine years ago, and the scenes felt hastily designed, discouraging audiences from watching.

Some film critics pointed out that even with a strong cast and a good IP, a movie doesn't necessarily guarantee good box office results, especially when the actors lack a strong fan base. Getting favorable screening schedules is even more challenging. From production and script adaptation to casting, there were significant issues, contributing to the movie's major box office failure.
