Gao Gao’s life story was remarkable. He was rescued from the wild in Baoxing, Sichuan, on April 6, 1993, and was estimated to have been born in September 1992. In 2003, he was sent to the San Diego Zoo in the United States, and later returned to China on November 1, 2018.
