2025年4月8日，深圳發生一起令人痛心的事件，一名初三男生在放學後於自家小區內，持刀將同班女同學潘某某刺死。根據案件材料顯示，案發時該男生已年滿14周歲。

11月26日，受害女生潘某某的母親曾女士表示，在上次一審開庭後，最近收到法院通知，本案將於11月28日上午宣判。她說：「我希望法院能夠對凶手從嚴判處。」

曾女士回憶，一審開庭時她親自出席庭審。庭上，被告人鐘某某稱，2023年他的祖父去世對他造成心理創傷，此外，他曾遭受校園霸凌。他表示自己行兇的原因是因為嫉妒受害人潘某某學業優秀、家庭氛圍良好。鐘某某還辯稱，因為他的奶奶從農村來，衣著簡樸，他認為女兒因此瞧不起他，但曾女士強調，她們根本不認識鐘某某的奶奶。

鐘某某在庭上還提到，他認為自己不應恩將仇報，希望能回到正常生活、回到學校。在此次宣判前，曾女士專程前往女兒墓前，告訴她案件即將落槌的消息，並說：「希望法院能嚴懲凶手。」

此案引發社會廣泛關注，不僅因為行為的殘忍，也反映出青少年心理健康、校園霸凌以及未解決心理創傷可能帶來的嚴重後果。

On November 26, Ms. Zeng, the mother of the victim, Pan. She stated that after the previous trial, she recently received notice from the court that the case would be sentenced on the morning of November 28. “I hope the court will impose a severe sentence on the perpetrator,” Ms. Zeng said.

Recalling the first trial, Ms. Zeng mentioned that she attended the hearing, during which the defendant, Zhong, claimed that the death of his grandfather in 2023 had caused him psychological trauma and that he had also experienced bullying at school. Zhong stated that he committed the act out of jealousy toward Pan for her good academic performance and harmonious family environment. He additionally claimed that Pan had looked down on him because his grandmother, who had moved from the countryside, wore simple clothing—though Ms. Zeng emphasized that they had never even met his grandmother.

Zhong reportedly also expressed in court that he regretted his actions and wished he could return to a normal life and go back to school.

Before the sentencing, Ms. Zeng visited her daughter’s grave to inform her that the verdict was about to be delivered, saying, “I hope the court will punish the perpetrator severely.”
