若要前往大阪知名的飛田新地，交通上其實相當方便。飛田新地位於大阪市西成區，距離大阪南部重要交通樞紐天王寺不遠，因此從多條鐵路線都可以輕鬆抵達。對大多數旅客而言，最方便的車站是動物園前站。這個車站同時有御堂筋線、堺筋線行經，從2號出口步行大約5到10分鐘即可進入飛田新地一帶，因此是最常被推薦的下車點。

若是搭乘JR或從機場過來，則可以在天王寺站下車。這裡是大阪南部最大的轉運站之一，包含JR與大阪地鐵多條路線。從關西機場搭乘JR Haruka Limited Express到天王寺後，再步行約10到15分鐘即可到達飛田新地，路線相對清楚，也比較容易辨識方向。另一個常見的選擇是新今宮站，這裡有JR與Nankai Electric Railway的南海電鐵經過。如果是從難波或關西機場搭南海電鐵過來，在新今宮站下車後步行約10到15分鐘也能抵達。

在導航方面，許多人會直接搜尋「飛田會館」或「飛田新地料理組合」作為定位點。需要注意的是，當進入該區域的核心街道後，當地對拍照與攝影相當敏感，因此通常建議把手機收起來，避免被誤會在拍照或錄影。

在大阪，其實不只有飛田新地這一個以「料理店」名義存在的特殊區域。除了飛田新地之外，還有幾個被稱為「新地」的地區，各自有不同的歷史與風格。整體而言，飛田新地的規模最大，也是知名度最高的一個區域，街道分區明確，其中「青春通」以年輕女性居多，因此人氣很高，但相對價格通常也較高，而且時間控管比較嚴格。

松島新地的規模僅次於飛田新地，店家分布較分散，整體氣氛相對低調一些。這裡的整體顏值評價普遍不錯，而且對外國客的接受度也比較高，價格通常比飛田稍微便宜，因此有些熟客會把它視為性價比較高的選擇。

松島新地則歷史悠久，據說有不少韓國裔從業者，因此在文化背景上與其他新地略有不同。這裡的從業者年齡層普遍略高，偏向成熟型客群，價格通常維持在相對穩定的區間。

位於大阪南部和泉市的信太山新地則被視為較為「大眾化」的地區，年齡層跨度很大，從年輕到成熟都有，整體價格也比市中心區域更親民，因此吸引不少本地客人。

另外還有規模最小的瀧井新地。這個區域隱藏在住宅區巷弄之中，外地旅客較少特地前往，整體氛圍相對低調，從業者年齡普遍偏成熟，價格也通常比較便宜。

至於營業時間，大多數新地的店家通常從上午約10點左右開始營業，一直持續到午夜前後。晚上 7 點到 9 點一般被認為是人數最齊全的時段，許多店家在這段時間會有最多從業者出勤，但同時也是最容易客滿的時間。由於飛田新地位於西成區，而西成區的治安評價長期較為兩極，因此若是在深夜造訪，通常建議避免在偏僻小巷長時間逗留，結束行程後盡快返回主要車站或市中心區域會比較安全。

If you are planning to visit Tobita Shinchi in Osaka, transportation is relatively convenient. Tobita Shinchi is located in Osaka’s Nishinari Ward and sits close to the major transport hub of Tennoji. Because several railway lines intersect in this area, the district can be reached easily from different parts of the city.

For most visitors, the most convenient station is Dobutsuen-mae Station. This station is served by both the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line and the Osaka Metro Sakaisuji Line. From Exit 2, it is about a five- to ten-minute walk to reach the streets of Tobita Shinchi, making it the most commonly recommended access point.

Another option is to arrive via Tennoji Station, one of the largest transportation hubs in southern Osaka. The station connects multiple JR lines and Osaka Metro routes. Travelers coming from the airport often take the JR Haruka Limited Express from Kansai International Airport to Tennoji, then walk approximately ten to fifteen minutes to reach Tobita Shinchi. The route is fairly straightforward and easy to navigate.

A third convenient station is Shin-Imamiya Station, which is served by JR lines as well as the Nankai Electric Railway. Visitors coming from Namba or directly from the airport via the Nankai line can get off here and walk roughly ten to fifteen minutes to the district.

When using navigation apps, many visitors search for “Tobita Kaikan” or the Tobita Shinchi association building as a reference point. However, once inside the central streets of the district, it is generally recommended to put away your phone. Photography and filming are strongly discouraged, and using a phone openly may be misunderstood as taking pictures.

Although Tobita Shinchi is the most famous, Osaka actually has several similar “Shinchi” districts that historically operate under the legal framework of “restaurant-style establishments.” Each area has its own atmosphere and reputation.

Among them, Tobita Shinchi is the largest and most well-known. The streets are organized into different sections, and the area known as “Seishun Street” is particularly famous for younger workers, which attracts significant attention from visitors. Because of this reputation, prices are typically higher and time limits tend to be strictly enforced.

Matsushima Shinchi is generally considered the second-largest district. Its establishments are more spread out, and the atmosphere is somewhat more relaxed. Overall appearance ratings are considered good, and the area is known for being relatively welcoming to foreign visitors. Prices are usually slightly lower than in Tobita Shinchi, which is why some regular visitors consider it to offer better value.

Imazato Shinchi has a long history and is often associated with a higher proportion of Korean-heritage workers. The demographic tends to skew slightly older compared with Tobita, attracting visitors who prefer a more mature atmosphere. Pricing in this district is generally stable.

Located in Izumi City south of Osaka, Shinodayama Shinchi is known for being more “down-to-earth” and accessible. The age range of workers is quite broad, and prices are typically more affordable than those in the central Osaka districts.

Another area, Takii Shinchi, is the smallest of the group. It is tucked away within residential streets and is less frequently visited by tourists. The atmosphere is quieter, with workers generally in a more mature age group, and prices tend to be lower.

Most establishments in these districts usually operate from around 10:00 a.m. until about midnight. The busiest period is typically between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., when the largest number of workers are present, although this is also when venues are most likely to be fully booked. Since Tobita Shinchi is located in Nishinari Ward—an area with a somewhat mixed reputation regarding safety—it is generally advisable to avoid wandering alone through small side streets late at night and to return to the main stations or central areas after finishing your visit.
