Nikola Jokić is a professional basketball player from Serbia, currently playing for the Denver Nuggets in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Born in 1995, he stands approximately 2.11 meters (6 feet 11 inches) tall and plays as a center and power forward.

Jokić is renowned for his versatile playing style, especially on the offensive end. With exceptional basketball IQ and passing ability, he is often described as a tall playmaking forward, capable of organizing the offense and creating scoring opportunities like a guard. His skills include superb passing, shooting, and rebounding, making him a well-rounded player.

Jokić has been selected multiple times for the NBA All-Star team and won the NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) award for the 2018-2019 season, becoming the first Serbian player to receive this honor and the first non-American player to win the MVP since 2004.

In addition to his tremendous success in the NBA, Jokić is also a key member of the Serbian national basketball team, representing Serbia in international competitions such as the Olympics and the FIBA World Cup.

Recently, the NBA officially announced that Jokić received 79 first-place votes, earning the MVP award for the 2024 season. This marks his third MVP award in four years, making him the ninth player in history to win the MVP three or more times, and the first to do so since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
