歐洲當地時間5月21日，歐盟理事會輪值主席對外表示，理事會已經批准動用俄羅斯央行被凍結的資產收益30億歐元。約9成的資金將用於替烏克蘭購買武器及彈藥，剩下的1成資金將用來支持烏克蘭的國防工業。這項對烏克蘭的軍事援助提案已經獲得批准，德國與法國也表達支持。目前歐盟持有俄羅斯央行資產金額約2100億歐元，大部分都存放在比利時。

On May 21, European local time, the rotating president of the European Council announced that the Council had approved the use of €3 billion in earnings from frozen assets of the Russian central bank. Approximately 90% of these funds will be used to purchase weapons and ammunition for Ukraine, while the remaining 10% will support Ukraine's defense industry. This military aid proposal for Ukraine has been approved and has received support from both Germany and France.Currently, the EU holds around €210 billion in assets from the Russian central bank, with the majority of these funds being stored in Belgium.
