著名表情包Doge的狗狗原型，18歲的柴犬卡波蘇（Kabosu）罹患白血病及肝病，已經在日本當地時間5月24日病逝。因為2010年的早期一張可愛生活照在網路上迅速爆紅，後來還成為加密貨幣狗狗幣的代表圖案，是繼忠犬八公之後第2隻在世界暴紅的日本狗狗。
主人佐藤發文弔念：“致長期喜歡Kabosu的人們，真的非常感謝。我認為Kabosu是世界上最幸福的狗狗，而我是世界上最幸福的主人。”
The original dog of the famous Doge meme, the 18-year-old Shiba Inu Kabosu, who suffered from leukemia and liver disease, passed away on May 24th, Japan local time. A cute photo of her from 2010 went viral on the internet, later becoming the face of the cryptocurrency Dogecoin. She is the second Japanese dog to achieve worldwide fame after Hachiko.
Her owner Sato posted a tribute: “To everyone who has loved Kabosu over the years, thank you very much. I believe Kabosu was the happiest dog in the world, and I am the happiest owner.”
