On May 29th local time, three Black men filed a federal lawsuit against American Airlines. The incident dates back to January 5th local time, when the three passengers were preparing to board a flight from Phoenix, Arizona, to New York City. Just before takeoff, an American Airlines employee claimed to have received a complaint about body odor and forcibly demanded that the three men leave the plane. No explanation was provided afterward, and the men did not know each other before the flight. It was later discovered that eight passengers were asked to leave the plane, all of whom were Black. Two of the men expressed their dissatisfaction, stating that they were targeted because of their skin color, and hoped that such incidents would not happen to Black people in the future.
