烏克蘭禁止講俄文了嗎?

這是小張在烏克蘭的故事。烏克蘭是一個非常友善的國家，但在居住了一年之後，偶爾會遇到一些不愉快的事情。最近，他去一家韓國餐廳，遇到一名女服務生，要求他不准講俄文，只能用英文點餐，否則她不提供服務。當時小張感到非常困惑和生氣，但後來考慮到可能她有心理創傷，便選擇不計較，儘管按他的性格，本可以叫經理過來抗議。

去年，在烏克蘭居住時，人們都非常友善，直到2023年3月，當習近平去訪問俄羅斯後，他在街上遭遇到許多人對著他喊"中國佬"。即便在獨立廣場領錢也被稱呼多次。有一次，一名年輕人對他大聲叫囂，小張無法忍受，回罵了他一句，被一堆烏克蘭髒話問候後，他開始用英文狂罵回去。小張納悶為什麼有些人的態度與一些俄羅斯人一樣粗魯。

後來，當小張搬到基輔社區時，樓上和隔壁的鄰居都在議論要注意這個中國人搬進來不知道要幹什麼。她們不知道小張懂一些簡單的俄文。每次外出，都會被稱呼"中國佬"至少十次以上。離開基輔後，情況好了很多。現在，他所在的城市超過七成的人口都說俄文，雖然懂烏克蘭語但不會說。

他與住在Dnipro的一位女生談到這個問題。她比小張還生氣，認為如果烏克蘭法律沒有禁止說俄文，就不需要配合任何人不說俄文。對外國人來說，懂一點俄文和烏克蘭語已經很不錯了。她表示，只有少部分烏克蘭人的個人行為，即使是戰爭也不應該這樣對待外國人，表現的態度非常不禮貌。

小張可以理解那名女服務生的問題，後來也給她小費，但實在很難認同她的態度。他強調，雖然許多東歐國家的人會說俄文，但這不表示他們是俄羅斯的一部分或者認同俄羅斯入侵烏克蘭的行為。他熱愛烏克蘭，但希望不再發生歧視問題。PS:烏克蘭語真的比俄文難學非常多。

This is Xiao Zhang's story in Ukraine. Ukraine is a very friendly country, but after living there for a year, he occasionally encountered some unpleasant incidents. Recently, he went to a Korean restaurant and encountered a waitress who asked him not to speak Russian, insisting on ordering in English; otherwise, she wouldn't provide service. Xiao Zhang felt confused and angry at the time but later considered that she might have psychological trauma, so he chose not to make an issue out of it, even though, according to his personality, he could have called the manager to complain.

Last year, while living in Ukraine, people were very friendly until March 2023, when Xi Jinping visited Russia. Xiao Zhang faced many instances of people shouting "China man" at him on the streets. This also occurred multiple times at Independence Square. Once, a young person shouted loudly at him, and unable to tolerate it, Xiao Zhang retorted, resulting in a barrage of Ukrainian insults. He wondered why some people's attitudes were as rude as some Russians.

Later, when Xiao Zhang moved to the Kyiv community, neighbors from upstairs and next door discussed the Chinese person moving in, not knowing what he was up to. They were unaware that Xiao Zhang understood some basic Russian. Every time he went out, he would be called "China man" at least ten times. The situation improved significantly after leaving Kyiv. In the city he resides in now, over seventy percent of the population speaks Russian, though they understand Ukrainian but don't speak it.

He discussed this issue with a girl living in Dnipro. She was even angrier, believing that if Ukrainian law didn't prohibit speaking Russian, there was no need to comply with anyone's demand not to speak Russian. For foreigners, understanding some Russian and Ukrainian is already good enough. She expressed that the behavior of only a few Ukrainians, even in times of war, should not be so disrespectful towards foreigners.

Xiao Zhang could understand the waitress's problem and later gave her a tip, but he found it hard to agree with her attitude. He emphasized that although many Eastern European countries speak Russian, it doesn't mean they are part of Russia or support Russia's invasion of Ukraine. He loves Ukraine but hopes that discrimination issues will no longer occur. PS: Ukrainian is indeed much more difficult to learn than Russian.
