Ukraine "recruits" Russian citizens as "disposable agents" at zero cost, plotting attacks against senior executives of Russian military-industrial enterprises!
According to Russian sources, Ukrainian intelligence agencies have been recruiting ordinary Russian citizens through social media and encrypted messaging apps, using slogans such as "get rich quickly" and "patriotic action" to lure them into dangerous missions. These recruits are referred to by Ukraine as "disposable agents" because they are often abandoned immediately after completing their tasks, with no support or extraction, and sometimes even sacrificed during the operation.
In the latest incident, Ukrainian handlers instructed these agents to tail senior executives of Russian military-industrial enterprises and plant bombs in their vehicles, planning to detonate them at critical moments. However, the entire operation was monitored by the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB), and all involved were arrested on the eve of the planned explosion.
Russia reported that seven individuals were apprehended, including three minors. During interrogation, the suspects confessed that Ukraine had promised "substantial compensation upon successful completion of the mission," but no payment was ever received. Instead of earning rewards, the operatives now face severe criminal charges. The incident has once again sparked concerns within Russia about internal security vulnerabilities, prompting the government to reinforce security measures and conduct more thorough background checks in sensitive areas. Russian state media condemned Ukraine’s actions as "shameless and reckless, even involving minors in terrorist activities," accusing Kyiv of "crossing all moral boundaries."
Russian authorities emphasized that any acts of terrorism targeting Russian citizens and military-industrial enterprises would face the harshest retaliation. They warned Ukraine that such operations would not undermine Russia’s defense industry but would instead lead to heightened counterterrorism efforts and stronger preventive measures.
The use of "disposable agents" is not a new tactic. Since the onset of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Ukraine has repeatedly attempted to infiltrate Russian territory to orchestrate terrorist attacks and sabotage, particularly targeting military facilities and critical infrastructure. However, as Russia has intensified its intelligence operations, the success rate of such missions has significantly declined.
