Bandai 推出的《來來!殭屍小子:小殭屍的阿彌陀大冒險》(Family Trainer No.10: Rairai Kyonshiizu / ファミリートレーナー 第10弾 夾來夾來!キョンシーズ)是紅白機專用周邊「Family Trainer(跳跳板/威力腳墊)」系列的第十款作品。結合當時全日本瘋迷的台灣電視劇《來來!殭屍小子》(幽幻道士系列)與體感操作,是該系列中極具創意且非常耗費體力的異色之作。

在技術表現上,完全服務於 Family Trainer 地墊的雙面操作。必須站在專用塑膠地墊上,透過實際的跑步、跳躍與踩踏來控制螢幕上的角色。在 80 年代末期,這種設計堪稱前衛的體感遊戲。採用可愛的 SD 二頭身畫風,完美還原電視劇中超人氣的小殭屍(Baby Kyonshi)以及恬恬、西瓜皮等角色。遊戲還支援兩人同時踩踏地墊,增加合作或競爭的樂趣,也讓客廳的震動成為一種真實的遊戲體驗。

故事劇情圍繞可愛的小殭屍展開。雖然小殭屍是殭屍,但本性善良,經常幫助恬恬等人。劇情描述小殭屍迷失在一個充滿陷阱與邪惡殭屍的迷宮世界,必須引導他通過各種「阿彌陀路徑」,類似畫線抽籤的岔路設計。最終目標是避開兇猛的惡靈,收集足夠的符咒,平安回到恬恬與金爺爺的身邊。

Bandai released Family Trainer No.10: Rairai Kyonshiizu (ファミリートレーナー 第10弾 夾來夾來!キョンシーズ), also known as Rairai! Kyonshi: Baby Zombie’s Amida Adventure, as the tenth entry in the Family Trainer series for the Famicom. This game combined the wildly popular Taiwanese TV drama Rai Rai! Kyonshi (part of the Ghostly Taoist series) with innovative physical gameplay, making it one of the most creative and physically demanding titles in the series.

Technically, the game was designed entirely around the Family Trainer mat peripheral. Players had to stand on the special plastic mat and control the character on-screen by running, jumping, and stepping in real life. For the late 1980s, this represented a highly forward-thinking approach to motion-controlled gaming. The visuals used a charming SD-style, two-heads-tall design, faithfully capturing the series’ beloved characters, including Baby Kyonshi, Ten-Ten, and Watermelon Peel. The game also supported two players simultaneously, increasing both the cooperative and competitive fun—and making the entire living room shake during play.

 

The story centers on the adorable Baby Kyonshi. Although a zombie, Baby Kyonshi is inherently good and often helps Ten-Ten and the others. In the game, Baby Kyonshi becomes lost in a maze filled with traps and hostile zombies. Players must guide him through various "Amida paths," similar to branching routes in a lottery-style puzzle, avoiding deadly spirits while collecting talismans. The ultimate goal is to reunite him safely with Ten-Ten and Grandpa Jin.

Gameplay demands both physical stamina and quick reflexes. To move Baby Kyonshi forward, players must continuously run in place on the mat. Obstacles or cracks in the floor require simultaneous jumps with both feet, and moving too slowly allows pursuing enemies to catch up. The Amida path branching mechanic is a standout feature, requiring players to quickly determine the correct safe route and step on the left or right sides of the mat to turn. Mini-games interspersed between stages further test agility, including stepping on zombies in a whack-a-mole style, balancing on narrow platforms, or collecting talismans and power-ups, sometimes needing precise steps to activate a “paralysis spell” against larger zombies.

Rairai! Kyonshi received acclaim for its immersive experience. Critics and players alike praised the game for allowing children to realistically "learn zombie jumps" in their living rooms—a dream come true for tokusatsu fans. However, the game’s intense mat activity often caused complaints from downstairs neighbors or parents, earning it the playful nickname “apartment destroyer.”

Historically, the game represents one of the most fully realized entries in the late-era Family Trainer series. It successfully combined the traditional "Amida diagram" gameplay with full-body motion controls, proving that licensed titles could innovate beyond RPG conventions. The most unforgettable moments involve seeing Baby Kyonshi hopping on-screen while the player jumps frantically on the mat, desperately avoiding pursuing zombies. Even with exhausted legs, the tension of not stopping left a lasting impression that players still remember fondly today.
