1989年12月15日，由Red Entertainment和Atlus合作開發，Hudson負責發行的《PC原人》（ピーシーげんじん/BONK'S ADVENTURE/歐洲: B.C. Kid）正式在PC Engine上市。隔年推出海外版。人物角色的設定是根據小學館的漫畫改編，移植的平台有Game Boy、FC、NES、Amigo。之後收錄在合輯，並重新在Xbox Live、Wii Virtual Console、PSN販售。當時的銷售數據相當亮眼，因此後來有推出續作及外傳。

故事背景設定在西元前一萬年，邪惡的King Drool在綁架美麗的公主後將她囚禁在堡壘，於是原始人邦克的援救任務就此展開。

在沒有太多武器的選擇下，只能用大頭來撞開敵人。可以透過跳躍在空中時按下進行攻擊。移動時連續按下就能慢慢滑行。除可以爬牆壁跟瀑布外，還可用牙齒抓住敵人。

擊敗敵人後收到笑臉，每個舞台結束後就能進行統計，並給予额外的生命。食物和心都可以恢復生命值，肉塊能提升能量。小肉塊提升一階段，力量是平常的兩倍。大肉塊提升兩階段，力量是平常的三倍，會有一段時間呈現無敵狀態。隨著時間的進行或是受到攻擊，力量會開始降低。如果通電就能粉碎敵人。二次通電就能呈現無敵狀態。

遊戲總共有五個舞台：

1.斯特戈山(Stego Hill)，頭目是休伊(Huey)。

2.魯巴洞穴(Rooba Cave)，頭目是格拉迪斯(Gladdis)。

3.德科坦沙漠(Dekotan Desert)，頭目是剛果齊拉(Kongo Zilla)。

4.古橋(Bony Bridge)，頭目是龐奇．佩德羅(Punchy Pedro)。

5.敵方堡壘(Enemy Fortress)，頭目有T.Ractorhead跟Psudo Za King Drool。

遊戲的密技有：

1.看到恐龍「すてごおか」時，進入他的嘴巴。在切換畫面前，連續按連發搖桿的II，方向則是對左。畫面出現的時候，居然來到天井的背後，最終動彈不得。

2.在第一關的 "あんき3 さばぐ" 的出發地點有告示牌。移動到左側。這時候用跳躍頭槌(Jumping Headbat)就會看到花的出現。取得後跑出彈簧花，踩上去就能拿到1UP。在第1-3關有兩個隱藏的1UP，第一個是在細長的叉路底，第二個在關卡終點的右上方樹叢跳躍就能找到。

3.將連發手把設定在最快速。當進行跳躍的時候，連續按住II。這時候就可以使出必殺技空中浮游迴轉。可以向四種方向的敵人攻擊。

On December 15, 1989, the game "PC Genjin" (ピーシーげんじん/ BONK'S ADVENTURE/B.C. Kid in Europe), developed in collaboration by Red Entertainment and Atlus with Hudson handling the distribution, was officially released on the PC Engine. The overseas version was launched the following year. The character settings were adapted from a manga published by Shogakukan. The game was later ported to platforms such as Game Boy, FC, NES, and Amigo, and included in compilations. It was re-released on Xbox Live, Wii Virtual Console, and PSN. The game achieved remarkable sales figures at that time, leading to the development of sequels and spin-offs.

The story is set in the prehistoric era, around ten thousand years ago, where the evil King Drool kidnaps the beautiful princess and imprisons her in a fortress. The rescue mission falls to the primitive hero Bonk.

With limited weapon options, players have to use Bonk's head to defeat enemies. Attacks can be executed by pressing down while jumping in the air. Continuous pressing while moving allows Bonk to slide slowly. Besides climbing walls and waterfalls, he can also use his teeth to grab enemies.

After defeating enemies, players receive smiley faces, and at the end of each stage, statistics are provided along with additional lives. Food and hearts can restore health, while meat chunks boost energy. Small meat chunks elevate one level, doubling the power, while large meat chunks elevate two levels, tripling the power, providing temporary invincibility. Power starts decreasing over time or upon receiving damage. Electrification allows smashing enemies, and a second electrification grants invincibility.

The game consists of five stages:

1.Stego Hill, with the boss Huey.

2.Rooba Cave, with the boss Gladdis.

3.Dekotan Desert, with the boss Kongo Zilla.

4.Bony Bridge, with the bosses Punchy Pedro and Pangu.

5.Enemy Fortress, with the bosses T.Ractorhead and Psudo Za King Drool.

The game features some cheats:

1.When you encounter the dinosaur "Sutegooka," enter its mouth. Before the screen changes, continuously press the II button and left on the joystick. When the screen appears, you'll end up behind the scenes, ultimately unable to move.

2.In the starting location of "Anki 3 Sabagu" in the first stage, there is a signboard. Move to the left side, and by using the Jumping Headbat, you will see a flower. After obtaining it, run out of the spring flower, and stepping on it will grant you a 1UP. There are two hidden 1UPs in stages 1-3: one at the bottom of the narrow fork and the second at the top right of the stage's endpoint in the bushes, reachable by jumping.

3.Set the turbo controller to the fastest speed. When jumping, continuously hold down the II button. This enables executing the special move of mid-air somersault, attacking enemies in four directions.
