Wii所推出的《任天堂明星大亂鬥X》是該系列產品第三部作品，之後續作則在3DS / Wii U推出，總共有瑪利歐角色組外，還包括洛克人、寶可夢、薩爾達、薩爾達傳說及星之卡比等，每個人物都有其特殊攻擊力及絕招，而非任天堂角色則加入音速小子的Sonic及潛龍諜影的主角Snake。玩家只要將敵人HP耗損到0即獲得勝利，螢幕下方顯示損傷值，若該值越高則表示被踢飛後判敗失一分的機會大增。對戰有分時間限制、台數限制、體力制等三種，玩家須熟練各種攻擊及跳躍技巧，才能迅速打倒敵人或是返回戰場。須注意每個關卡有五分鐘限制外，關卡中的陷阱與道具也可以多加使用，而敵人常會呼朋引伴，所以若能快速踢翻敵人，就能有助後續前進。

The Wii-released game "Super Smash Bros. Brawl" is the third installment in the series, with subsequent sequels released on 3DS and Wii U. The game features a roster that includes characters from the Mario series, along with others such as Mega Man, Pokémon, Zelda, The Legend of Zelda series, and Kirby. Each character has unique attacks and special moves. Non-Nintendo characters such as Sonic from Sonic the Hedgehog and Snake from Metal Gear Solid are also included. Players win by reducing their opponent's HP to 0, with the damage percentage displayed at the bottom of the screen. A higher damage percentage means a greater chance of being knocked out and losing a point.

There are three modes of combat: time limit, stock, and stamina. Players must master various attack and jump techniques to quickly defeat enemies or return to the battlefield. Each stage has a five-minute limit, and players can use traps and items found in the stages to their advantage. Since enemies often call for backup, quickly dispatching foes can aid in progressing through the game.
