由日本知名漫畫家武內直子在90年代推出的《美少女戰士》相當受到歡迎，最早在1992年的講談社少女漫畫月刊《Nakayoshi》連載五年，單本發售18本，在當時較冷門的少女漫畫市場居然賣出1200萬本，之後更推出卡通、遊戲、真人演出的電視劇及舞台劇。劇情分為五部分別為黑暗帝國篇、黑色月亮篇、死亡毀滅者篇、死亡月亮篇、銀河之影篇，劇場版有美少女戰士R、美少女戰士S、美少女戰士SuperS，劇場版的故事全都移值到任天堂超任SFC平台。

故事講述女巫秋碧爾運用水晶魔力吸取人們的力量，準備統治整個世界，某日一群日本高中生在外救了一隻三眼貓，得知需要啟動月冕的力量變身成美少女戰士，才有強大的力量可以跟女巫隊對抗，主要設定的主角有月野兔、地場衛、水野亞美、火野麗、木野真琴、愛野美奈子、小小兔。在擊敗女巫之後，隨著來自月球的神秘王子地場衛的出現，一場更精彩的正邪大戰就此拉開序幕。

1995年9月22日上市的超任遊戲《美少女戰士 ANOTHER STORY》(日:美少女戦士セーラームーン ANOTHER STORY/Sailor Moon ANOTHER STORY) 由Angle製作及發行，以RPG模式進行，故事設定則以動畫第五部Super S為基礎。故事的五大章情節完全獨立於原著，某日神秘的命運戰士襲擊美少女戰士們。為拯救在戰鬥中受傷的男主角小衛，需要找到埋藏在地球的四顆水晶及薔薇水晶，於是冒險就正式開始。 

若想要一開始就用最強狀況進行遊戲，可以在一開始螢幕出現慧星的畫面時，一直按住2P控制器上的A鍵，然後在1P控制器開始輸入上上下下左左右右(兩次)、上下左右(兩次)、手把的BXLR，當聽到日文的「拜託你，銀水晶!」，就表示操作成功，登入遊戲就發現全隊員都是最強模式。如果想要進行變身，只要到道具欄位選擇聖杯即可。 

一顆彗星快速飛過，這時候30世紀的東京天文學家發現已經進入太陽系直撲地球而來，人們抬頭就能在天空上看到巨大彗星。為化解人們的不安，這時候女王月野兔向傳奇銀水晶祈禱，但水晶卻不停的震動。令人不解的是最終頭目(Death Phantom)已經被打敗，於是眾人聯想到與彗星有關。女王希望美少女戰士們可以進行調查，於是冒險的旅程就此拉開序幕。

第一章節是地獄的命運。一開始會在月野兔的家中出發，露娜叫醒了女主，告知外面的世界似乎有點反常，希望能夠一起到街上去了解狀況。走出家門後與右邊第一位女性交談，她會幫忙免費恢復體力。首先到商店街內的珠寶店，會發現奈留跟媽媽正被怪物襲擊，於是就會出現經典的台詞，月野兔變身成為美少女戰士，並說「我要代替月亮懲罰你！」。 

這時候男主夢到四天王的昆茨艾特告知，目前的彗星會將過去，現在和未來的命運扭轉改變，醒來後發現四天王的石頭正在閃爍。畫面切換到火川神社，亞美姍姍來遲，表示因為考試要與浦和君一起去圖書館K書。於是基於好奇心，大家跟蹤亞美到東京車站，沒想到許多乘客紛紛逃竄。到火車站車廂內，連續打敗兩隻怪物後，就能救出昏迷狀態中的浦和君。回到神社後，月野兔會接到天王遙的電話，告知土萌螢生病了，趕快來醫院探視。 

遊戲偏重於解決問題後展開劇情，戰鬥的場景並不多。如果需要存檔，需要找到露娜的圓球，在每個關卡在與頭目對戰前都會出現，最多有兩個資料庫。主要指令有1.物品(Items):初期最好多攜帶一些補血HP及補魔法MP的物品，將有利遊戲進行 2.配件(Accessories):每位人物最多可以配戴三種配件，是重複的物件也可以 3.隊伍排列(Formation):排在最前方受到的傷害最大，需要特別注意團隊的血量 4.狀態(Status):最高可以練到血量HP到999，對敵人最高的傷害是9999。到後期敵人會使用的技能相當多，如果沒有閃避成功會造成催眠、被控制、混亂及石化的狀態 5.技能(Techniques):每位美少女戰士除有自己的獨特技能，還可以進行組合攻擊及全體攻擊，招式名稱都與動漫相符，魔法最多耗損12。6.連線(Link Techs) 7.方塊(Puzzle):遊戲的支線任務就是收齊拼圖，總數超過180個，除了打到敵人可以取得外，有部分是需要完成任務後才能得到的獎賞。 

總共主線人物有10位，採用類似超任太空戰士系列的戰鬥設計，我方人物會在右邊，最多可以有五位參戰，大部分的道具都可以在商店入手。遊戲在劇情發展上非常細心，而整個節奏及對話都有濃濃的原著風格，容易讓玩家融入整個情節當中，最多可以五人進行戰鬥。困難度沒有傳統的RPG高，喜歡美少女戰士的玩家們可以遊玩看看，回味一下童年的美好記憶。

Launched by renowned Japanese manga artist Naoko Takeuchi in the 1990s, "Sailor Moon" quickly gained immense popularity. The series was first serialized in Kodansha's monthly shojo manga magazine "Nakayoshi" in 1992 and ran for five years, resulting in 18 volumes. Remarkably, it sold 12 million copies in a market where shojo manga was not very mainstream at the time. Following its success, the franchise expanded into animated TV series, games, live-action TV dramas, and stage plays. The storyline is divided into five parts: Dark Kingdom Arc, Black Moon Arc, Infinity Arc, Dream Arc, and Stars Arc. Additionally, there are three feature films: "Sailor Moon R," "Sailor Moon S," and "Sailor Moon SuperS," all of which were adapted into games for the Nintendo Super Famicom (SFC) platform.

The story centers on the witch Cyprine, who uses crystal magic to absorb people's energy to conquer the world. One day, a group of Japanese high school students rescues a three-eyed cat and learns they need to harness the power of the Moon Emblem to transform into Sailor Soldiers, gaining the strength to fight against the witch's forces. Key characters include Usagi Tsukino, Mamoru Chiba, Ami Mizuno, Rei Hino, Makoto Kino, Minako Aino, and Chibiusa. After defeating the witch, a more thrilling battle between good and evil begins with the arrival of the mysterious Prince  Chiba Mamoru from the Moon.

Released on September 22, 1995, the Super Famicom game "Sailor Moon ANOTHER STORY" (美少女戦士セーラームーン ANOTHER STORY) was developed and published by Angel. It is an RPG based on the fifth anime series, "SuperS." The game's five chapters are entirely independent of the original storyline. One day, mysterious warriors of fate attack the Sailor Soldiers. To save the injured Chiba Mamoru, they must find four hidden crystals on Earth and a rose crystal, setting off their adventure.

To start the game with maximum strength, hold down the A button on the 2P controller when the comet appears on the screen, then enter a specific sequence on the 1P controller: up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right (twice), up, down, left, right (twice), B, X, L, R. When you hear the Japanese phrase "Onegai yo, Silver Crystal!" it indicates success, and all team members will be in their strongest mode. For transformation, simply select the Holy Grail in the item menu.

A comet swiftly flies by, and 30th-century Tokyo astronomers discover it has entered the solar system and is heading towards Earth. People can see the huge comet in the sky, causing widespread unease. Queen Usagi prays to the legendary Silver Crystal to calm everyone, but the crystal vibrates uncontrollably. Even though the final boss, Death Phantom, has been defeated, the comet's appearance seems connected. The Queen hopes the Sailor Soldiers will investigate, thus beginning their journey.

The first chapter, "Fate of Hell," starts at Usagi's home, where Luna wakes her up, noting that something seems strange outside and suggesting they check the situation in the city. Upon leaving home and talking to the first woman on the right, she will restore your health for free. At the jewelry store in the shopping district, Naru and her mother are attacked by monsters, prompting Usagi to transform into Sailor Moon and declare, "In the name of the moon, I'll punish you!"

Meanwhile, Mamoru dreams of Kunzite, one of the Four Kings of Heaven, who warns that the comet will alter the fate of past, present, and future. Upon waking, Mamoru finds the Four Kings' stones glowing. The scene shifts to Hikawa Shrine, where Ami arrives late, explaining she was studying at the library with Urawa. Out of curiosity, the group follows Ami to Tokyo Station, where they encounter panicked passengers. After defeating two monsters inside a train carriage, they rescue the unconscious Urawa. Back at the shrine, Usagi receives a call from Haruka, informing her that Hotaru is ill and needs to be visited at the hospital.

The game emphasizes solving problems to advance the story, with fewer battle scenes. To save progress, find Luna's sphere, which appears before boss fights in each level and can hold up to two save files. Key commands include:

Items: Carry enough HP and MP restoration items to aid in gameplay.

Accessories: Each character can equip up to three accessories, including duplicates.

Formation: Characters at the front take more damage; monitor the team's health closely.

Status: HP can reach a maximum of 999, with damage up to 9999. Enemies later in the game have many skills, causing status effects like sleep, control, confusion, and petrification.

Techniques: Each Sailor Soldier has unique skills and can perform combo and group attacks, consistent with the anime, with a maximum MP cost of 12.

Puzzle: Side quests involve collecting over 180 puzzle pieces, obtainable from defeated enemies or as rewards for completing tasks.

The main storyline features 10 characters, using a battle design similar to the SNES "Final Fantasy" series, with characters on the right side of the screen and up to five participants in battles. Most items can be purchased in stores. The game's development is meticulous, with a rhythm and dialogue closely matching the original work, immersing players in the plot. The difficulty is lower than traditional RPGs, making it enjoyable for "Sailor Moon" fans to revisit cherished childhood memories.
