第一關會從鐵橋區開始，從左邊移動到最右邊就能到頭目區，擊倒黃色武器兵就能拿到火箭筒，蹲下發射就能摧毀地面上布置好的地雷。頭目是三人一組的飛踢軍人加上其他小兵，可以先站到最右邊，然後不斷揮動匕首攻擊即可。

第二關是鐵網隔離的軍用機場，需要注意地面上大量的地雷，還有會不斷開槍的軍人。快到頭目區的時候，會出現許多位在上方的軍哨敵人，開始進行大量掃射，需要特別注意，頭目是三個用飛行器出現的敵人，在空中不斷移動後丟出手榴彈，需要等他們低空飛過後，跳起來攻擊就能打敗。 

第三關是貨櫃碼頭，難度並不高，最好在上方移動，敵人數量較少，又可以避開大量地雷。可以拿到的武器有無敵星星、手槍、手榴彈。背景看到01號的潛水艇時，就會看到頭目，是從左右方不斷出現的軍犬，可以站著或是蹲下刺殺，出現的順序為右6隻、左6隻、右6隻、左6隻，之後一右一左會重複出現三次。

第四關難度最高，一開始從飛機棚外開始進行，會出現大量丟擲手榴彈的敵人，還有從天而降的傘兵，不斷的開槍掃射。看到鐵絲網後就找樓梯爬上去，可以避開大量的地雷。通過森林區抵達鐵橋區，就會碰到頭目，是三台不斷丟手榴彈的直升機，除了要躲開攻擊外，還要對付地面上持槍射擊的敵人，等直升機低飛後，再跳起攻擊就會成功摧毀。

第五關的敵人數量相當多，美版只有單純的地面戰，日版還有難度更高的地下道戰場。平面舞台的背景是雪山軍事基地，可以在軍營上面不斷跳躍移動，就能避開大量的敵軍，當抵達到紅磚區，警報會自動響起，會出現從天而降的三位持槍傘兵，當他們掃射完降落再攻擊即可。

第六關是綠色軍事基地，先移動到上方後快速前進，避開地面上的大量地雷，抵達最後的核子飛彈區前，要注意上方有五個雷射砲台。跟第一關一樣，右方會不斷出現大量敵人，擊倒武器兵後就能拿到火箭筒，然後朝向飛彈射擊12發，就能迎來全破畫面。

The first level begins in the bridge area, progressing from the left to the right to reach the boss area, where defeating the yellow weapon soldiers yields a rocket launcher. Crouching while firing can destroy landmines on the ground. The boss consists of groups of three flying kick soldiers along with other infantry; staying on the far right while continuously wielding the knife is an effective strategy.

The second level is set in a military airfield sectioned off by wire mesh, with numerous landmines and soldiers constantly firing. Near the boss area, watch out for sentries above engaging in heavy gunfire. The boss consists of three enemies appearing in flying vehicles, throwing grenades after moving in the air. Timing jumps to attack when they fly low is key to victory.

The third level takes place in a container terminal, with relatively low difficulty and fewer enemies, allowing for easier navigation while avoiding numerous landmines. Available weapons include invincibility stars, pistols, and grenades. The boss appears near the submarine seen in the background, with soldiers appearing alternately from the right and left sides.

The fourth level is the most challenging, starting from outside the hangar with enemies throwing grenades and paratroopers descending from above. Climbing stairs upon encountering barbed wire allows for avoiding landmines. Upon reaching the bridge area through the forest section, the boss consists of three helicopters continually dropping grenades from above while ground troops engage in gunfire. Waiting for the helicopters to fly low before attacking is essential.

The fifth level features a large number of enemies, with the American version focusing solely on ground combat while the Japanese version includes a more challenging underground battle. Set against the backdrop of a snowy mountain military base, players can navigate by continuously jumping on top of barracks to avoid enemy soldiers. When reaching the red brick area, alarms sound automatically, signaling the appearance of three paratroopers descending from above. Attack after they finish firing to defeat them.

The sixth level is a green military base, with players quickly advancing upwards while avoiding numerous ground mines. Before reaching the final nuclear missile area, be wary of five laser turrets above. Similar to the first level, a large number of enemies appear from the right side; defeating the weapon soldiers allows for acquiring a rocket launcher, which can then be used to fire 12 shots at the missile, resulting in a complete victory screen.

按A紐就可使用武器，可以發射子彈、手榴彈、火箭筒等。按B紐就可以揮動匕首攻擊。十字鍵的功能除了左右移動外，按左上或是右上就可以橫向跳動，可以用45度角的跳躍來避開路上的地雷，遇到敵人發射子彈就可按下，撲倒在地就可躲過。一開始會有五台數，日版只有三台數，當分數達到十萬就會增加一台數。武器(POW)最多攜帶九個數量，如果撿到一發手榴彈，之後又取得一發火箭筒，這時候武器就會自動轉換成兩發火箭筒。整體操作相當單純，每個關卡流程相當短，但困難度卻相當高，因為只要稍微與敵人有碰觸或是被攻擊，馬上就會死亡，因此取得武器反擊，變得相當重要。

Players can use the A button to wield weapons, including bullets, grenades, and rocket launchers. Pressing the B button allows for knife attacks. The directional pad not only moves the character left and right but also enables horizontal jumps when pressed diagonally, useful for avoiding landmines. When facing enemy gunfire, players can press down to evade. At the start, players have five lives; in the Japanese version, there are only three, with an additional life awarded every 100,000 points. Weapons (POW) can be carried up to nine, with the acquisition of a rocket launcher automatically converting any grenades into rockets.

Overall, the gameplay is straightforward, with each level's progression being relatively short. However, the difficulty is high as even slight contact with enemies or attacks results in immediate death. Therefore, acquiring weapons for counterattacks becomes crucial. 

日版的綠色兵團重要密技有選關，當標題畫面出現時，按住1P的方向鍵任何方向，然後按住2P的下+A+B鍵，再按1P的開始鍵就可以進行選關，美版無法操作此密技。另一個密技是一開始就能有十台數，當標題畫面出現時按住1P的A不放．在同時按住2P的下+A+B鍵，再按1P的開始鍵即可。

日本磁碟機版本與海外卡帶版的主要差異在於，可以將未使用的武器帶到下一關。在日版中，拿到的武器只能發射一發，而海外版則可以發射三發。此外，在第2、4、5關中，清除地雷後會出現前往地下通道的階梯。在第2關的地下道中，敵人數量較少，可以移動到最後的階梯再爬上去，很快就可看到頭目。但是在其他關卡，地面的敵人數量更多，如果到最後階梯才攀爬，會被帶到一開始出發的位置。建議在中間的通道爬到地面會比較安全。雖然日版只有三條生命，比美版的五條生命少，但當死亡時會在原地復活。而美版則會退回到最初或關卡中段區，並且無法接關。

An important cheat code in the Japanese version allows players to select levels: on the title screen, hold any direction on the 1P directional pad and simultaneously press down + A + B on the 2P controller, then press the 1P start button to access the level select feature. Another cheat code grants ten lives from the start: on the title screen, hold down the 1P A button and simultaneously press down + A + B on the 2P controller, then press the 1P start button.

The main difference between the Japanese disk version and the overseas cartridge version is that you can carry unused weapons to the next level. In the Japanese version, each obtained weapon can only be fired once, while in the overseas version, it can be fired three times. Additionally, in levels 2, 4, and 5, stairs to the underground passages will appear after clearing the mines.

In the underground passage of level 2, there are fewer enemies, and you can move to the last set of stairs and climb up quickly to see the boss. However, in other levels, there are more enemies on the ground. If you climb up from the last set of stairs, you will be taken back to the starting point. It is safer to climb up from the middle section of the passage.

Although the Japanese version only has three lives compared to the five lives in the American version, you will revive in the same spot when you die. In contrast, the American version will send you back to the beginning or the middle of the level, and you cannot continue from where you left off.
