怒(英:IKARI)是SNK早期開發在街機的直向卷軸射擊遊戲,整體設計有參考經典美國電影藍波。劇情是某日聯合國收到情資,神秘犯罪集團準備在一個國家建立基地,由於各國領袖無法確認其訊息真偽,於是決定派出特種部隊出身的職業傭兵,假裝飛機失事後迫降到敵方基地,沒想到作戰前飛機提前墜落,只剩下上校拉夫爾(Ralf)及少尉克拉克(Clark)存活, 於是任務正式展開 。
一開始有兩個玩家出現在畫面上,扮演上校拉夫爾Ralf(紅色頭巾)跟少尉克拉克Clark(藍色頭巾)職業傭兵。遊戲可玩性相當高,玩家可以兩人合體開一輛坦克進攻敵人,更有機關槍及手榴彈等火力強大武器協助攻擊。在許多槍林彈雨下,玩家們很難一次就全破,因此必須要有以下密技來減少過關難度。值得一提的是Ralf跟Clark後來在SNK經典大作越南大戰6&7和格鬥天王系列再次出現。
用十字鍵就能到處移動,按A紐就能丟擲手榴彈或是駕駛坦克,B紐則是開槍掃射。選關:在標題畫面時快速輸入1P的上、下、A、A、B、左、右、A、B、上、A、下、右、右、左、B、上、左、A、右、B、左、右、A、左、上、A、下、A、右、左、B,然後按START進入遊戲,即可用A鍵或B鍵進行選關。接關(無限次):被擊敗後在"GAME OVER"出現之前,輸入ABBA鈕即可。增加直升機及坦克:兩位玩家可以重疊的搭乘直升機或坦克,按A紐後就變成兩台。
補強的道具有A)手槍:200分,取得後可以補一百發子彈 B)手榴彈:200分,補充手榴彈數量,向敵人丟去會造成大量死傷 C)茶壺:200分,可以補充手槍及手榴彈的數量,也可變成坦克及直升機的燃料。
擊敗紅色軍人就能拿到各種補給,有A)S:200分,可以增加移動速度 B)SS:200分,移動速度可以增加到最快 C)L:200分,可以增加射擊的距離 D)F:200分,子彈可以射穿岩石 E)B:200分,強化手榴彈威力 F)K:200分,取得後就能消滅畫面所有敵人,潛水的敵人則例外。隱藏的物品有:A)雅典娜(Athena) :是SNK其他作品的主角,取得後增加2500分 B)金塊或銀塊:隱藏在各地,拿到後可得到最高5000分 C)時鐘:藏在相當隱密的地方,可得2000分。
舞台由四個關卡組成,第一關是叢林戰場,移動的時候要小心布滿各地的地雷,當駕駛直升機的時候,則要小心水上的水雷,碰到就會爆炸。 來到岩石區的時候,石獅不好破壞,最好盡快移動。 抵達後面的敵軍基地時,用手榴彈破壞門,需要注意大量的坦克,還有在門上方的狙擊手。攀爬岩壁時,會看到我方的坦克,但是敵人直升機會馬上展開突擊,最後看到紅色堡壘時,慢慢地前進並擊落狙擊手。總共要通過七個大門,關卡沒有Boss,走到底就過關,拿到一萬分。
第二關是市區的戰地,在許多林立的房屋內都有士兵守候著,看到石壁的時候,用手榴彈摧毀才能出現通道,有時候會出現隱藏道具(此關有隱藏人物雅典娜)。整體敵人火力相當強大,沿路還有許多火箭砲兵,被擊中就死亡,碰到河川旁的陸路,會有許多補給,拿到後再持續上路 。相較於第一關,橋變得很長,會先碰到重型坦克,然後直升機會進行掃射,需要特別小心。碰到岩石區最好用手榴彈攻擊敵人,可以順便破壞石壁,最後來到紅色堡壘區,會碰到一堆坦克大軍跟狙擊手,相當不好對付,需要特別小心,過關後得到兩萬分。
第三關是敵軍基地,沿路會看到跟主角一樣的人跑出來,都是複製人偽裝,直接掃射後就會變回士兵。破壞油罐後,有時候會出現茶壺的補給,複雜的水路會阻止我方坦克前進,只好步行移動,如果拿到SS就能強化速度,到方塊區拿到直升機就能避開地面上大量的火力。有一些門炸開後會出現地雷,設法再炸開其他門即可,到達司令官前會碰到許多砲兵跟狙擊手,用手榴彈就能造成敵人大量死傷,這時候發現司令官早已經變成骷髏,用手榴彈炸開講台前的地板,就會出現地道,進去後就完成第三關,並拿到三萬分。記住如果在這邊待太久,就會出現許多火箭砲攻擊。
第四關是最後舞台,是隱藏的敵軍基地。如果是兩人進行遊戲,一位玩家已經走到前面,另一位玩家移動速度如果太慢,可能就會被畫面卡死。跟前關卡一樣,要設法拿到SS跟直升機,快速飛過地面。通過許多的水路後,看到粉紅色地毯就離Boss不遠了,巨大的骷髏浮雕就是最終Boss,會不斷射出砲彈,一被擊中就會死亡,用手榴彈設法貼近丟擲,來回幾次就能全破。
Ikari (Japanese: 怒) is a vertically scrolling shooting arcade game developed by SNK in its early days. The overall design draws inspiration from the classic American film Rambo.
The story begins when the United Nations receives intelligence about a mysterious crime syndicate planning to establish a base in a certain country. As the authenticity of the information cannot be confirmed by world leaders, a team of professional mercenaries, formerly part of special forces, is dispatched. They simulate a plane crash to infiltrate the enemy base. However, the plane unexpectedly crashes ahead of schedule, leaving only Colonel Ralf and Lieutenant Clark as survivors, thus beginning the mission.
At the start of the game, two players appear on screen, taking on the roles of Colonel Ralf (wearing a red headband) and Lieutenant Clark (wearing a blue headband), professional mercenaries. The game offers high playability, allowing players to jointly operate a tank to attack enemies. Players also have access to powerful weapons like machine guns and grenades. The game is challenging, often requiring more than one attempt to clear all stages. To reduce difficulty, certain cheats can be used. Notably, Ralf and Clark later reappear in SNK's classic titles Metal Slug 6 & 7 and the King of Fighters series.
Players use the D-pad to move around, while pressing A throws grenades or operates tanks, and B fires a gun.
Stage Select: At the title screen, quickly input: Up, Down, A, A, B, Left, Right, A, B, Up, A, Down, Right, Right, Left, B, Up, Left, A, Right, B, Left, Right, A, Left, Up, A, Down, A, Right, Left, B, then press START to enter the game. Players can select stages using the A or B button.
Continue (Unlimited): After being defeated, input ABBA before the “GAME OVER” screen appears.
Helicopter and Tank Duplication: Two players can overlap while riding a helicopter or tank. Press A, and the vehicle will duplicate.
Power-ups include:
A) Pistol: 200 points – Restores 100 bullets.
B) Grenades: 200 points – Increases grenade count, dealing massive damage to enemies.
C) Teapot: 200 points – Refills pistol and grenade stock; also serves as fuel for tanks and helicopters.
Defeating red soldiers provides various supplies:
A) S: 200 points – Increases movement speed.
B) SS: 200 points – Maximizes movement speed.
C) L: 200 points – Extends shooting range.
D) F: 200 points – Bullets penetrate rocks.
E) B: 200 points – Strengthens grenade power.
F) K: 200 points – Eliminates all enemies on screen, except those underwater.
Hidden items:
A) Athena: From another SNK title, grants 2500 points.
B) Gold or Silver Bars: Hidden in various locations, worth up to 5000 points.
C) Clock: Hidden in secret spots, grants 2000 points.
Stages:
Stage 1: Jungle battlefield. Beware of landmines while moving. Helicopters must avoid water mines, which explode upon contact. In rocky areas, stone lions are hard to destroy—move quickly. At the enemy base, use grenades to destroy gates, avoiding tanks and snipers. Climb cliffs, watch for friendly tanks, but beware of enemy helicopters. Upon reaching the red fortress, proceed slowly and eliminate snipers. There are seven gates to pass, with no boss. Reaching the end clears the stage, awarding 10,000 points.
Stage 2: Urban battlefield. Soldiers hide in buildings, and stone walls must be destroyed with grenades to reveal paths. Hidden items, including Athena, may appear. Enemy firepower is intense, with rocket soldiers along the way. Supply caches appear near rivers. Compared to Stage 1, the bridge is longer, with tanks and helicopters providing heavy resistance. Grenades can destroy obstacles and enemies. The red fortress at the end houses tanks and snipers—proceed carefully. Clearing the stage awards 20,000 points.
Stage 3: Enemy base. Clone soldiers disguised as the player appear but revert to soldiers when shot. Destroying fuel tanks may reveal teapots. Complex waterways block tanks, requiring players to proceed on foot. Collecting SS enhances speed. Helicopters can bypass heavy fire. Some doors conceal landmines, but others open new paths. Near the commander’s room, many soldiers and snipers await—grenades are effective. Upon reaching the commander, it is revealed he is already a skeleton. Grenades must be used to break the floor beneath the podium, revealing an underground passage. Clearing the stage earns 30,000 points. Lingering too long results in rocket barrages.
Stage 4: Final stage – Hidden enemy base. In two-player mode, if one player advances too quickly, the other may get stuck. SS and helicopters are essential for fast traversal. After crossing waterways, the pink carpet signals proximity to the final boss—a giant skull carving that fires projectiles. One hit results in death. Grenades must be thrown up close, requiring repeated attempts to defeat the boss and clear the game.
