Nintendo's Switch has achieved tremendous success in the market, and there are expectations for the imminent release of the next-generation console. One of the recent hot topics revolves around the "Mig-Switch" flashcard, designed for storing Switch games, which has already been acquired and tested by some buyers.

According to leaked videos on the internet, inserting the Mig-Switch card into the Nintendo Switch (NS) console causes the games to change. Currently, there are two main methods for hacking the Switch. One involves software hacks that require inserting hardware into the Joy-Con's port, similar to the concept of installing emulators, but it only works for early versions of the console, excluding later Lite and OLED models. The other method is hardware hacking, which is applicable to all models but requires soldering the SXCore chip onto the PCB board at the back of the console.

The Mig-Switch only requires a simple card insertion without the need for software or hardware hacks, and it is compatible with all models of the console. The downside is the continuous need to insert and remove the card when selecting games. The current price is $65 per card, and to avoid legal responsibility, the manufacturing company explicitly states on its official website that the product is not affiliated with Nintendo and is designed solely for game backup purposes. Buyers are advised to refer to local laws in their respective countries and warned against using it to download or install pirated games, as this will void any warranty or after-sales service.

The design of the Mig-Switch is reminiscent of the R4 flashcard from years past, storing various XCI files on a TF card for gameplay. However, it's worth noting that the R4 flashcard faced significant legal consequences after its launch, with Nintendo and other software developers filing a collective lawsuit against the manufacturers and distributors. The Japanese court ruled that the R4 flashcard seriously infringed on copyrights, resulting in substantial fines. Therefore, Mig-Switch might face a similar fate in the near future.
