很難想像一部動漫居然創造出2700億台幣以上的產值，顯示日本動漫在全球的巨大影響力。成功的要素在於人物的設定，搭配鬼斧神工的專業漫畫家的手繪，創造出引人入勝的虛擬世界。根據近期日本公布的前11大漫畫家收入排行榜，即使是排在榜尾的漫畫家年收入也有2億日幣以上。

第十一名：《東京喰種》的作者石田翠，去年的收入高達2.2億日幣。該作品發行量突破百萬冊的銷售，並在第14冊時更是一舉突破840萬冊。整部作品連載超過7年，在2018年完結，總銷售量超過3700萬冊。2014年改編成動畫，之後還有舞台劇和2017年的真人版電影推出。

第十名：《我的英雄學院》的漫畫家堀越耕平，年收入超過2.3億日圓。故事描述在一所專門培養英雄的學校，主角綠谷出久在沒有人看好的情況下成功進入學校就讀，並立志成為一位真正的超級英雄。

第九名：《王者天下》的作者原泰久，2023年年收入超過2.5億日幣。該作品從2006年開始在集英社雜誌連載，舞台設定在中國戰國時代末期，主角是來自秦國的少年李信，展開輔佐贏政的故事，目前總發行量突破1億冊。

第八名：柳瀨嵩（1919年~2013年），2023年年收入超過2.65億日幣。生前創作了大量的繪本及漫畫，其中最知名的是《麵包超人》。該作品的靈感來自於作者參加二戰時的飢餓經歷，因此萌生設計出可以讓人吃飽的英雄概念在打擊壞人的同時，還可以犧牲自己的麵包頭，拯救飢餓的人們。於1988年製作成動漫卡通，內容主要宣導愛與和平，並打破世界吉尼斯紀錄，出現的人物超過1768位。

11th place: Ishida Sui, the author of "Tokyo Ghoul," earned a whopping 220 million yen last year. The series has sold over a million copies, with the 14th volume surpassing 8.4 million copies. Serialization lasted over 7 years, concluding in 2018 with total sales exceeding 37 million copies. It was adapted into an anime in 2014, followed by stage plays and a live-action film in 2017.

10th place: Kohei Horikoshi, the creator of "My Hero Academia," earned over 230 million yen annually. The story revolves around a school for training heroes, with the protagonist, Izuku Midoriya, defying odds to enroll and aspiring to become a true superhero.

9th place: Yasuhisa Hara, the author of "Kingdom," earned over 250 million yen in 2023. Serialization began in 2006 in Shueisha magazines, set in the late Warring States period of China, following the story of Li Xin from the state of Qin as he aids Ying Zheng. The total circulation has exceeded 100 million copies.

8th place: Soubee Amako (1919–2013) earned over 265 million yen in 2023. He created numerous picture books and manga during his lifetime, with the most famous being "Anpanman." The inspiration for this work stemmed from his experiences of hunger during World War II, leading to the concept of a hero who could feed people while fighting villains, sacrificing his own bread head to save the hungry. Adapted into an anime cartoon in 1988, it primarily promotes love and peace and broke the Guinness World Record for the most characters, with over 1,768 appearances.
