2 spring onions, chopped

1 tablespoon light soy sauce

1 tablespoon dark soy sauce

1 teaspoon sugar

Instructions:

1. Place the beef slices in a bowl and add light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, and a dash of ground black pepper. Mix well and marinate for about 15 to 20 minutes.

2. Heat one tablespoon of vegetable oil in a frying pan or wok. Add the chopped spring onions, sliced garlic, and chili (if using), and stir-fry until fragrant.

3. Add the sliced green and red bell peppers, and continue to stir-fry until the vegetables soften.

4. Push the vegetables to the side of the pan and add another tablespoon of vegetable oil. Quickly add the marinated beef slices to the pan and stir-fry until they change color.
