在《越南大戰3》（Metal Slug 3/メタルスラッグ3/合金彈頭3）中，有兩種隱藏的坐騎：大象和鴕鳥。

在第3代版本的第2關懸崖處，清理完4隻喪屍後，會看到左側有"ICE MAN"的字母。然後，打破下方的石門就能進入一個洞穴。在洞穴的盡頭，就能找到冰封的大象。打破冰塊後，就能騎乘大象。在正常的狀態下，大象可以丟擲手雷。如果吃到辣椒，就能發射F子彈攻擊。另外，拿到電池後，可以進行雷射射擊。

在第三關的舞台是下水道。這時候，可以破壞橋樑後持續前進，或者進入水管後浮到橋面。如果選擇進入水管，往橋面後持續往右前進，就能發現鴕鳥的出現。

In "Metal Slug 3" (メタルスラッグ3), there are two hidden mounts: an elephant and an ostrich.

In the second level, after clearing out four zombies, players will see the letters "ICE MAN" on the left side. Then, breaking the stone gate below will lead to a cave. At the end of the cave, players will find a frozen elephant. Breaking the ice block allows players to ride the elephant. In its normal state, the elephant can throw grenades. Eating chili peppers enables it to shoot F-bullets. Additionally, picking up a battery allows it to perform laser shots.

The third level takes place in a sewer. At this point, players can either continue forward after destroying the bridge or enter a pipe and float to the bridge's surface. If players choose to enter the pipe, they should keep moving right after reaching the bridge's surface to encounter the appearance of the ostrich.
