韓國的超級熊貓福寶是一位備受歡迎的公眾人物。由於中國的外交政策，韓國飼養員姜爺爺特地到四川挑選兩隻熊貓，分別是愛寶（原名華妮）和樂寶。它們於2016年3月3日來到三星集團的愛寶樂園。福寶於2020年7月20日出生，是韓國自然繁殖誕生的首隻大熊貓。

在過去的四年多時間裡，飼養員們竭盡全力，希望愛寶和樂寶每年都能成功懷孕。若一旦錯過孕期，只能進行人工受精或等待下一年的機會。因此，每天都需要檢查兩隻熊貓的激素水平。鑒於韓國以前沒有大熊貓繁殖的經驗，吳凱的團隊從中國前來協助福寶的出生。福寶出生時，由於母親愛寶缺乏經驗，多次試圖叼起福寶卻未成功，開始表現出暴躁的情緒，因此需要暫時將母子分開。後來檢查發現福寶全身長滿水疱狀的濕疹，確診為微痘狀皮疹，可能隨時有生命危險。在中韓團隊的一周治療下，福寶恢復健康。

福寶出生僅15天就張開眼睛，比平均30至40天縮短一半以上的時間。在眼睛未完全發育的情況下，可能會有失明的風險，因此團隊決定每天消毒所有與福寶接觸的人員，以防細菌感染，並減少環境光線以防止對福寶眼睛的傷害，同時補充大量的母乳以幫助其良好發育。在眾人的細心照料下，福寶成為世界上睜開眼睛時間最短的熊貓。隨後，飼養員姜爺爺和宋爺爺繼續細心照料福寶長達三年半的時間。根據當時的租賃合同，福寶於2024年4月3日被送回中國大陸大熊貓保護研究中心臥龍神樹坪基地。

當福寶出生時，韓國正在爆發疫情，許多人的健康和生計都受到影響，愛寶樂園也因此面臨著極大的挑戰，因為遊客數量急劇下降。還來園方開始積極宣傳福寶，並記錄其成長過程，逐漸積累大量的人氣。福寶的成長故事治癒許多韓國人的心靈，包括一些因產後憂鬱症或失業而感到沮喪的人，現在已經有眾多韓國民眾請願希望能續租福寶。

South Korea's beloved panda, Fu Bao, became a public sensation. Due to China's diplomatic policy, South Korean caretaker Grandpa Kang specifically traveled to Sichuan to select two pandas, Ai Bao (formerly known as Hua Ni) and Le Bao. They arrived at the Samsung Group's Ai Bao Park on March 3, 2016. Fu Bao was born on July 20, 2020, making her the first giant panda born through natural breeding in South Korea.

Over the past four years, caretakers spared no effort to ensure that Ai Bao and Le Bao could conceive successfully each year. If they missed the breeding period, artificial insemination or waiting for the next year's opportunity was the only option. Therefore, they had to check the hormone levels of both pandas daily. Given South Korea's lack of experience in panda breeding, Wu Kai's team from China assisted in Fu Bao's birth.

When Fu Bao was born, her mother, Ai Bao, lacked experience and repeatedly failed to pick her up, displaying aggressive behavior. Thus, they needed to temporarily separate mother and cub. Subsequent checks revealed Fu Bao's body covered in blister-like eczema, diagnosed as papular dermatitis, posing potential life-threatening risks. Under a week of treatment from both Chinese and South Korean teams, Fu Bao recovered. Fu Bao opened her eyes just 15 days after birth, halving the average time of 30 to 40 days. With the risk of blindness due to incomplete eye development, the team decided to disinfect all personnel in contact with Fu Bao daily to prevent bacterial infections. They also reduced environmental lighting to protect her eyes and supplemented her with ample breast milk for healthy development. With everyone's careful attention, Fu Bao became the world's fastest-opening panda.

Subsequently, caretakers Grandpa Kang and Grandpa Song continued to care for Fu Bao for three and a half years. According to the lease agreement at the time, Fu Bao was sent back to the Wolong Shenshuiping Panda Center in mainland China on April 3, 2024.

When Fu Bao was born, South Korea was experiencing a pandemic, affecting many people's health and livelihoods, and Ai Bao Park faced significant challenges due to a drastic drop in visitors. Consequently, the park began actively promoting Fu Bao and documenting her growth, gradually accumulating a large following. Fu Bao's story of growth healed many Koreans' hearts, including those suffering from postpartum depression or unemployment, and now many South Koreans are petitioning to continue leasing Fu Bao.
