1991年8月12日在GB平台推出的惡魔城續作《德古拉傳說2》(ドラキュラ伝説II / Castlevania 2: Belmont's Revenge)，由日本科拿米(Konami)製作及發行。部分專業機構評為在Game Boy平台上推出的最佳惡魔城系列遊戲。畫面跟GB的洛克人模式類似，採用大螢幕的設計。劇情描述自從《惡魔城傳說》事件結束15年後，德古拉再次回歸，綁架準備要進行成年禮的克里斯多福．貝爾蒙特(Christopher Belmont)的兒子索雷尤，並將他變成惡魔。在索雷尤的神祕力量運作下，德古拉再次變成人類樣貌，成功重建他的城堡，於是主角克里斯多福踏上拯救孩子的冒險。
On August 12, 1991, Konami released the Castlevania sequel Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge (ドラキュラ伝説II / Dracula Densetsu II) for the Game Boy platform in Japan. It has been praised by some critics as the best Castlevania game available on the Game Boy platform.
Fifteen years after the events of Castlevania: The Adventure, Dracula returns and kidnaps Soleiyu Belmont, the son of Christopher Belmont, who was about to undergo his coming-of-age ceremony. Dracula transforms Soleiyu into a demon. Using Soleiyu's mysterious powers, Dracula regains human form and reconstructs his castle. Christopher Belmont embarks on an adventure to save his son.
The gameplay is similar to the original NES Castlevania, but with reduced difficulty, making it accessible to younger players. Despite having only two sub-weapon options and no health-restoring items, the strongest whip's fireball attack greatly aids gameplay. With practice, clearing the game is achievable.The game was well-received for its improved graphics and mechanics over its predecessor, and it remains a beloved entry in the Castlevania series, especially among Game Boy titles.
