1992年，卡普空推出的街機遊戲《吞食天地II-赤壁之戰》（Warriors of Fate）在日本以《Tenchi wo Kurau 2: Sekiheki no Tatakai》的名稱問世，是《吞食天地》的續作。遊戲的角色設計仍以漫畫《吞食天地》為基礎。1996年，遊戲移植到PCE、Sega Saturn和PlayStation平臺，手機版則於2005年上市。這款遊戲是卡普空最受歡迎的街機遊戲之一，在當時受到巨大的成功。2018年9月18日，遊戲推出了Nintendo Switch、PlayStation 4、Xbox One和Windows版。 

由於採用漫畫的人物造型，因此呂布的外觀呈現為外國人的形象，魏延則是光頭並替代馬超。遊戲只採用人物設定，而劇情與正史大致吻合。延續初代的劇情，故事背景設定在2200年前的三國時期。在劉邦建立的漢朝經過400年後，迎來動盪的時代。在混亂的政局中，董卓奪取權力，並在他殘暴的統治下導致百姓苦不堪言。繼承漢王朝血統的劉備與關羽、張飛、趙雲等組成聯合軍，最終結束董卓的野心。七年後，漢朝的三分之一領土都在曹操的掌控之下，為統一天下，曹軍向劉備所在的荊州發動進攻。

在海外版本中，三國的劇情被完全刪除，故事背景轉移到一個虛構的國度。敘述商洛的邪惡統治者阿基拉·奧爾汗（以曹操為原型），為了滿足擴充領土的欲望，開始對附近的國家展開侵略行動。在這樣的情勢下，關帝(劉備)在五位勇士的協助下展開反抗。遊戲開始時，玩家可以從五位武將中選擇三位。人物有關羽、張飛、趙雲、黃忠和魏延可以選擇。關羽屬於全能武將，各項參數都比較均衡。雖然沒有特別之處但是卻相當容易上手。適合新手操作。

張飛是五位角色中最有技巧性的武將。常勝將軍趙雲屬於機動靈敏型。攻擊力最低。百步穿楊的老將黃忠屬於遠戰型。離敵人距離越遠攻擊力越強大。但防守最弱。適合高手操控。魏延與關羽類似也屬於全能型武將。除摔投攻擊力較弱外。並無其他缺點。

舞台背景是從火燒博望坡到華容道。那時沒有馬超跟魏延。但因要湊足五虎上將所以設定魏延。

第一關是博望坡之戰，敵將在附近紮營，於是偷襲任務展開。在99秒的時間限制內打敗頭目李典。

第二關是博望坡之戰的後半段，持續向右移動即可。需要在約4分鐘的時間內打倒頭目獨眼夏侯惇，該武將之前曾隨曹操與呂布交戰，在受到襲擊後失去左眼，居然把自己的眼睛吃掉。戰勝後進入加分區，通過搖動搖杆和連續按鍵比賽誰吃飯的速度最快。

第三關是新野城，仍然持續向右移動，很快就能到達城門口。在該關卡中，玩家會遇到頭目許褚，他的血量相當多，需要在99秒內取得勝利。戰鬥結束後，玩家會遇到由曹操派出的三位女刺客，試圖阻止前往吳國，時間限制為99秒，女刺客分別是美美、美冴和美玲。

第四關是白河，重現當年關羽水淹曹軍的歷史。這關卡的難度較高，補血道具也較少。頭目是曹仁，時間限制為99秒，他的血量相當高。最後一招如果用絕招砍就能讓對方身首異處。

第五關是長阪坡之戰。一開始倒打畫面的敵人後，發現劉備的元配糜夫人被困住。於是前往營救夫人跟阿斗。頭目是三國演義所杜撰出來的虛擬人物曹仁的部將淳于導，是趙雲第一個斬殺的曹軍大將。他看到馬會想過去騎。這時候可以趁這空檔不斷攻擊。取得勝利後會發現受重傷的糜夫人為不拖累大家投井自殺。留下兒子阿斗。

第六關是長坂橋。清掃大部分敵人後往左移動就會碰到劉備。將阿斗交付就開始留下來殿後。面對的頭目是夏侯傑跟晏明。打倒夏侯傑就能拿到特殊武器。三國演義中的夏侯傑是被張飛給嚇死的，晏明則是一出場很快就被趙雲殺死。

贏得勝利後畫面會轉到劉備企圖與東吳合作的劇情。於是孫權要求展示兄弟同盟之力。加分區就此開始。如果是單人進行就會出現曹操的木偶，打20次就結束。若是雙打或是三位玩家，就會出現互砍的現象。看最後誰勝出。在確定同盟後，諸葛亮會在船上說準備用火攻討伐曹操。

第七關是赤壁之戰，在三國演義中是確認三國鼎立的知名戰役。為避免不擅於水戰的曹軍暈船，在龐統的建議下使用連環計，將所有的木船都串連在一起。在正史的記載中，百萬曹軍之所以落敗是因為瘟疫的流行，造成當時許多人的平均壽命只有14歲。

頭目是張遼，是魏國的五子良將之一，曾以八百將士擊退孫權百萬大軍，並差點抓到孫權。打敗後就會出現動畫，赤壁之戰失敗後，曹操率兵撤離。

第八關是赤壁之戰2。頭目是騎馬的徐晃，也是魏國的五子良將之一。曾解除樊城之圍，戰場上曾擊退關羽， 在曹丕稱帝後受封右將軍。

第九關是華容道。要在這邊開始追擊逃跑的曹操。最終的頭目是三國第一武將呂布，不論血量或是攻擊力都是最強的設定，也是吞食天地兩款街機都有出現的人物。

遊戲中有六件隱藏的武器。第一是青釭劍，在長坂橋撂倒逃跑的騎馬夏侯傑後就能獲得。此劍對敵人有擊倒效果，缺點是造成的傷害很低。第二是七星劍，在撂倒黑皮膚的趙雲後或之後擊敗夏侯傑時獲得。此劍同樣可以撂倒敵人，對敵傷害比青釭劍略高。第三是聖劍，在第七關進入第二艘船的中間艙的左上角。揮拳後會掉出一盒寶箱，裡面就內藏聖劍。此劍除擊倒效果外，對燃燒屬性威力強大。

第四是SUI槌，在第八關打倒黑色趙明後取得。對敵人傷害大還有連擊效果。第五是正宗，在第八關頭目場景的右上角用一個飛踢就會掉下寶箱就能打開取得。該刀也有擊倒效果。第六是草薙，在第九關第一個場景左上角。同樣也是打出寶箱後獲得。一劍會對敵人產生巨大傷害，是殺傷力最強大的武器。

遊戲有三種通關結局。當玩家成功打敗最後一關的頭目呂布後，就能追上逃跑的曹操。如果玩家選擇不殺的指令就會產生兩種不同的結局。

選擇放過曹操，結局為魏、蜀、吳三國鼎立，為蜀國換來短暫的和平。但如果選擇殺掉曹操，卻未能在十五秒內解決他，曹操將跳崖逃走，最終結局為曹操回到魏國積蓄兵力復仇，進攻荊州，最終打敗劉備。然後關羽就會表示遺憾，張飛則認為當初應當宰了曹操，趙雲會展現出可惡的動作，黃忠則感歎事到如今，無法挽回。魏延提議再戰一次，最終五位角色紛紛戰死。 

然而，如果選擇殺並在十五秒內解決曹操，將迎來最好的結局。劉備統一三國並匡復漢室，而取得戰功的主角們則獲得美人擁抱及榮譽。結局中，關羽成為教書先生，張飛過著喝酒吃肉的生活，趙雲持續習武修練，黃忠與動物一起泡溫泉過著隱居生活，而魏延則過著幸福的兩人生活。

In 1992, Capcom released the arcade game "Warriors of Fate" in Japan under the title "Tenchi wo Kurau 2: Sekiheki no Tatakai," which is the sequel to "Dynasty Wars." The character designs are based on the manga "Tenchi wo Kurau." In 1996, the game was ported to the PCE, Sega Saturn, and PlayStation platforms, and a mobile version was released in 2005. Due to the use of manga character designs, Lu Bu appears with a foreign appearance, and Wei Yan is bald and replaces Ma Chao. While the game adopts the character designs, the storyline largely follows historical events.

Continuing from the first game, the story is set during the Three Kingdoms period, around 2,200 years ago. After 400 years of the Han Dynasty established by Liu Bang, the era descends into chaos. Dong Zhuo seizes power and imposes a tyrannical rule, causing great suffering among the people. Liu Bei, inheriting the Han lineage, forms an alliance with Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Zhao Yun, and others to ultimately end Dong Zhuo's ambitions. Seven years later, a third of the Han territory falls under Cao Cao's control, who then launches an attack on Liu Bei's base in Jingzhou to unify the land.

In overseas versions, the Three Kingdoms storyline was entirely removed, and the setting was shifted to a fictional country. The narrative describes the evil ruler Akira Orhan (based on Cao Cao) of Shangluo, who begins invading neighboring countries to expand his territory. In this scenario, Guan Di (Liu Bei) leads a rebellion with the help of five warriors.

At the start of the game, players can choose from five generals: Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Zhao Yun, Huang Zhong, and Wei Yan. Guan Yu is an all-around character with balanced parameters, making him a beginner-friendly choice. Zhang Fei is the most skillful among the five characters. Zhao Yun, the ever-victorious general, is agile but has the lowest attack power. Huang Zhong, the sharpshooter, excels in long-range combat with stronger attacks the farther he is from the enemy but has the weakest defense, suitable for advanced players. Wei Yan is similar to Guan Yu, being an all-around character with weaker throw attacks but no other significant drawbacks.

The stages range from the Battle of Bowang Slope to Huarong Road. At the time, Ma Chao and Wei Yan were not included, but Wei Yan was added to make up the Five Tiger Generals.

Stage Breakdown:

Battle of Bowang Slope (Part 1): The enemy general camps nearby, and the mission is to launch a surprise attack. The boss is Li Dian, who must be defeated within 99 seconds.

Battle of Bowang Slope (Part 2): Continue moving to the right to defeat the boss Xiahou Dun, who lost his left eye in a previous battle and famously ate it. After victory, enter the bonus area where players compete by shaking the joystick and pressing buttons to eat rice the fastest.

Xinye City: Continue moving right to reach the gate. The boss is Xu Chu, with substantial health, and he must be defeated within 99 seconds. After the fight, players encounter three female assassins sent by Cao Cao to stop their advance to Wu, each must be defeated within 99 seconds.

White River: Reenact Guan Yu's historical flooding of Cao Cao's forces. The boss is Cao Ren, who has high health and must be defeated within 99 seconds. Using a special move can decapitate him.

Battle of Changban Slope: Rescue Liu Bei's wife Mi Furen and son A Dou. The boss is the fictional General Chunyu Dao, the first of Zhao Yun's kills in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. After victory, find Mi Furen mortally wounded, who commits suicide to avoid being a burden.

Changban Bridge: After defeating most enemies, move left to meet Liu Bei. The boss is Xiahou Jie and Yan Ming. Defeating Xiahou Jie rewards a special weapon.

Battle of Red Cliffs (Part 1): Historically, a decisive battle confirming the Three Kingdoms period. The boss is Zhang Liao, one of Wei's five great generals.

Battle of Red Cliffs (Part 2): The boss is Xu Huang, another of Wei's five great generals.

Huarong Road: Chase the fleeing Cao Cao. The final boss is Lu Bu, the strongest character in both arcade games in terms of health and attack power.

Hidden Weapons:

Qinggang Sword: Obtain after defeating the fleeing mounted Xiahou Jie. It can knock down enemies but has low damage.

Seven Star Sword: Obtain after defeating the black-skinned Zhao Yun or subsequently defeating Xiahou Jie. It knocks down enemies with slightly higher damage.

Holy Sword: Found in the left upper corner of the second ship in Stage 7. It is powerful against burning enemies.

SUI Hammer: Obtain after defeating the black Zhao Ming in Stage 8. It deals high damage and has a combo effect.

Masamune: Found in the top right corner of the boss scene in Stage 8. It has a knockdown effect.

Kusanagi Sword: Found in the top left corner of the first scene in Stage 9. It deals significant damage.

Endings:

Triumvirate Peace: If the player spares Cao Cao, resulting in a temporary peace among Wei, Shu, and Wu.

Cao Cao's Revenge: If the player attempts to kill Cao Cao but fails to do so within 15 seconds, he escapes, regroups, and eventually defeats Liu Bei, leading to the deaths of all five heroes.

Unified Han: If the player kills Cao Cao within 15 seconds, Liu Bei unifies the Three Kingdoms and restores the Han Dynasty. Each hero enjoys a happy ending: Guan Yu becomes a teacher, Zhang Fei enjoys a life of drinking and eating, Zhao Yun continues martial training, Huang Zhong lives a secluded life in hot springs, and Wei Yan enjoys a blissful life with his partner.
