1986年的射擊街機絕對合體《Side Arms: Hyper Dyne》(サイドアーム/絕對合體)於1989年7月14日由阿貝紐移植到PCE平台，同時推出海外版。改版後的CD-ROM版本僅在日本販售，名為《Side Arms Special》。在PS2及Xbox平台出版的Capcom Classics Collection Vol.2也有收錄該作品。

故事描述外星人Bozon正試圖摧毀地球上所有生物，於是亨利中尉及桑德斯中士奉命來到地球，操控機器人α（Alpha）和β（Beta）。冒險正式展開，兩個機器人可以組合變成強大的合體，但控制有一定難度。

機器人的升級系統類似宇宙巡航艦，從速度到強化武器威力。主要的武器包括Bit（環繞機器人的火球）、散彈槍（Shotgun，慢速度的射出五個方向子彈）、巨型火箭筒發射器（MBL，向前方發射強大火力）、3-Way（快速的往前方、上下對角線射擊）和自動（Auto，可以快速往前射擊或是較慢的三向射擊）。

遊戲密技：

1.在標題畫面出現時，按下方向鈕的下、Ⅰ、Ⅱ鈕，再按住RUN就可以在分割畫面開始遊戲。若按住上、Ⅰ、Ⅱ再按RUN鈕，就會變成黑白畫面。若在黑白畫面陣亡時，操作分割畫面的指令，就能在黑白分割畫面的狀態下遊玩。

2.有時候關卡會出現強制捲動，很容易被障礙物卡住。這時候用方向鍵按捲動方向的反方向，在按的期間就能穿越障礙物。

3.在戰鬥中被擊敗的瞬間，馬上按RUN暫停，將武器進行更換，例如M．G．L或是S．G。這樣重新開始挑戰的時候，武器就能被保留下來。

4.遊戲進行時按暫停，然後按方向鍵的任何一方及RUN。這時按下選擇紐，在暫停狀況下放開方向鍵，再按住選擇紐RESET，畫面就會沒有沒有聲音。

5.當展示畫面出現地球被破壞的景像，快速按兩次RUN。遊戲展開時馬上按暫停，背景音樂就會變成片頭曲。

6.在連發手把上將I的速度調整到中等，II的速度調整到最大。這時候就能開始左右兩方的攻擊。

7.將兩隻連射搖桿接在多人用連接器上。這時候在遊戲進行時按P2的I、II會變成暫停。將連射開到最大，這樣就有如慢速進行。運用此技能就能輕鬆對付各種敵方戰艦。

In 1986, the shooting arcade game "Side Arms: Hyper Dyne"(サイドアーム) was ported to the PCE platform by NEC Avenue on July 14, 1989, and later released overseas. The revised CD-ROM version was only sold in Japan under the name "Side Arms Special." The game is also included in Capcom Classics Collection Vol. 2, published for PS2 and Xbox platforms.

The story revolves around an alien named Bozon attempting to destroy all life on Earth. In response, Lieutenant Henry and Sergeant Sanders are sent to Earth to control the robots Alpha and Beta. The adventure officially begins, and the two robots can combine to form a powerful entity, but controlling them has its challenges.

The robot's upgrade system is similar to a Gradius of Konami, covering enhancements from speed to weapon power. The main weapons include Bit (a fireball that surrounds the robot), Shotgun (slowly shoots five-direction bullets), MBL (a giant rocket launcher that fires powerful shots forward), 3-Way (quickly shoots forward, diagonally up, and diagonally down), and Auto (rapid forward shooting or slower three-way shooting).

Game Cheats:

1.On the title screen, press down, I, II, and then hold RUN to start the game in split-screen mode. If you hold up, I, II, and then press RUN, the screen will turn black and white. If you die in black and white mode, follow split-screen commands to continue playing in that state.

2.Sometimes, there will be forced scrolling in a level, and you may get stuck on obstacles. Use the arrow key to press the opposite direction of the scrolling during the period to pass through obstacles.

3.The moment you are defeated in battle, immediately press RUN to pause, and change weapons, such as M.G.L. or S.G. When restarting the challenge, the weapon will be retained.

4.During the game, press pause, then press any direction key and RUN. Press the select button while paused, release the direction key during the pause, then hold the RESET button. The screen will have no sound.

5.When the screen shows the image of Earth being destroyed, quickly press RUN twice. When the game resumes, immediately press pause, and the background music will change to the opening theme.

6.Adjust the speed of I to medium and II to the maximum on the rapid-fire joystick. This way, you can start attacking on both sides.

7.Connect two rapid-fire joysticks with a multiplayer connector. During the game, press P2's I and II to pause. Set the rapid fire to the maximum for slow-motion gameplay. Utilize this skill to easily deal with various enemy warships.
