《倉庫員》(也稱作倉庫番、Soko-Ban、Warehouse Keeper或Boxxle)是由Hiroyuki Imabayashi製作,於1982年首次推出。隨後,在電腦MS-DOS、MSX、SEGA-1000、Commodore 64和Game Gear等平台上推出多個改良版本。1984年,ASCII和Spectrum Holobyte發行改良版的二代,並在Apple II、Commodore 64和IBM-PC上推出版本。

在1989年9月1日Game Boy主機上,波麗佳音(Pony Canon)製作及發行該遊戲,在1990年6月22日推出續作《倉庫員2》(也稱作倉庫番2、Soko-Ban2、Warehouse Keeper2或Boxxle2)。《倉庫員2》延續前作的劇情,描述主角Willy在約會時,女友Wanda被外星人綁架到其他星球,因此Willy再次回到倉庫打工,以賺取製造太空船的費用。通過完成一定的關卡,可以獲得製造火箭所需的部件。

任務是將雜亂的箱子搬移到指定的位置以完成關卡。在遊戲中,可以通過放大或縮小畫面來制定搬運策略。遊戲共有120個關卡。需要搬運並整理箱子,每次只能移動一個箱子,且無法拉動。一旦出現操作錯誤,可以按開始鍵選擇重啟(Retry)以重新挑戰。畫面右上方顯示關卡和移動步數,並提供四個字母(日版是假名)的關卡密碼。

起初,只有三個箱子,但後來箱子數量會增加,難度也會增加。遊戲還提供編輯關卡模式,允許玩家自行設置箱子的位置和目的地,還提供三種修正畫面。有三種背景音樂可供選擇。主選單提供登入遊戲、輸入密碼繼續關卡和創建關卡的選項。按A執行,按B取消。通過選擇重新開始或繼續,可以在暫停時重新開始遊戲。

" Boxxle" (also known as "Sokoban," or "Warehouse Keeper) was created by Hiroyuki Imabayashi and first released in 1982. Subsequently, several enhanced versions were released on platforms such as computer MS-DOS, MSX, SEGA-1000, Commodore 64, and Game Gear. In 1984, ASCII and Spectrum Holobyte released an enhanced version for Apple II, Commodore 64, and IBM-PC.

On September 1, 1989, Pony Canyon developed and released the game for the Game Boy console, followed by the sequel "Warehouse Keeper 2" on June 22, 1990.

"Warehouse Keeper 2" continues the storyline of its predecessor, depicting the protagonist Willy, whose girlfriend Wanda is kidnapped by aliens during a date and taken to another planet. Willy returns to work in the warehouse to earn money to build a spaceship. By completing certain levels, he can obtain the components needed to construct the rocket.

The objective is to move and arrange boxes to designated positions to complete each level. Players can strategize their moves by zooming in or out of the screen.

The game features a total of 120 levels where players need to move and arrange boxes. Each box can only be moved one at a time and cannot be pulled. In case of a mistake, players can restart by pressing the start button. The screen displays the level and the number of moves, along with a four-letter (in Japanese version, it's in Katakana) level password.

Initially, there are only three boxes, but the number increases as the game progresses, along with the difficulty. The game also offers a level editor mode where players can create their own levels, along with three screen correction options.

There are three background music options to choose from. The main menu provides options to start the game, input passwords to continue levels, and create levels. Pressing A executes actions, while pressing B cancels them. Players can choose to restart or continue when pausing the game.

Here are some level passwords: Level 2: BYN5, Level 3: JJ9Y, Level 4: J0KP, Level 5: 0K84, Level 6: J1JD, Level 7: 0K9Y, Level 8: 2RVM, Level 9: K0TN, Level 10: 1J0Z, Level 11: K0VB, Level 12: KJ15.

Special passwords vary between Japanese and American versions. In the North America version, the sound test is XK5R, the omitted storyline is JYBD, and the production team list is ?[Spade]Q?. In the Japanese version, the sound test isたかわし(ta ka wa shi), the omitted storyline isおサアイ(o sa a i), and the production team list isトみサワ(to mi sa wa).
