Based on the iconic anime and manga BLEACH by Tite Kubo, the game focuses on intense, high-stakes battles that capture the series’ signature “one-strike kill” drama.

At its core, the gameplay emphasizes cinematic sword-based combat, referred to as “blade clash action.” Players utilize each character’s unique Zanpakutō abilities along with techniques inspired by the series’ combat system—such as Zanjutsu, Hakuda, Hohō, and Kidō—to engage in fast-paced offensive and defensive encounters. Each fighter also possesses distinct enhancement skills that can disrupt an opponent’s rhythm and create openings for decisive strikes.

A standout feature of the game is its powerful “finishing move” system. Battles revolve around carefully managing distance, timing, and momentum to deplete an opponent’s Reishi (health gauge) and ultimately destroy their Konpaku (remaining lives). The Awakening system adds another layer of intensity. Characters can transform through iconic states such as Shikai and Bankai, significantly boosting their abilities and evolving their movesets.
