戰鬥系統受到策略名作《Into the Breach》的啟發。戰場以棋盤格構成,玩家可在「規劃階段」自由設計角色動作路線、技能使用與連段策略,並在「行動階段」一次性執行所有決策。遊戲允許玩家於規劃時反覆「倒帶」修改指令,直到找到最完美的連擊與走位組合。當所有角色同時動作時,華麗的戰鬥動畫與連鎖攻擊特效交織成極具張力的視覺盛宴。

 “Demonschool” is an upcoming new-style tactical role-playing game developed by Necrosoft Games, set to launch on November 19, 2025, for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. The game blends strategic combat with a coming-of-age campus narrative, presenting a fusion of eerie supernatural horror and heartfelt character relationships.

The story follows Faye, a freshman entering a mysterious university located on a remote island plagued by supernatural disturbances. Though she had only read about such phenomena in her family’s old documents, she soon realizes that the legends are real. Together with her eccentric new classmates, she forms a small team to investigate the island’s mysteries and confront grotesque monsters inspired by Italian horror films and Japanese horror manga.

 

In combat, players can form a four-person squad chosen from 15 unique characters, each with distinct abilities and special skills. The system emphasizes team coordination and tactical precision — where movement equals action. The battlefield design is inspired by Into the Breach, dividing encounters into planning and execution phases. During planning, players can freely test and rewind their moves to find the perfect strategy, while the execution phase plays out the results in stylish, animated sequences.

Gameplay encourages players to use buffs and debuffs strategically to amplify combo attacks and exploit elemental weaknesses. Executing successful combos deals massive damage and triggers visually striking effects. The design rewards creativity, positioning, and timing rather than brute strength.

Outside of combat, Demonschool offers a detailed simulation of college life. Players plan their team’s schedule, manage training sessions, attend classes, complete side quests, and deepen friendships among the cast. These social interactions influence character growth, unlocking new skills and narrative branches depending on who Faye chooses to bond with.

The game’s world unfolds dynamically throughout a university semester, shifting between morning, afternoon, and night, with new mysteries and challenges emerging as time progresses.
