歷史：

Wii控制器（Wiiリモコン/Wii Remote，也稱為Wiimote）於2006年推出，與任天堂的Wii主機一同搭配發售。創新的無線設計，提供玩家互動式和身臨其境的遊戲體驗。

操作方式和功能：

手把具有多個按鈕，有A、1、2、+、-、十字鍵、Home及背鍵等。下方還設有一個擴展插槽，用來連接其他附件，如左手把(Nunchuk)和經典控制器(Classic Controller)。想要測試是否正常，需要將AA電池置入後按所有的按鈕，如果有四個燈發光，則表示訊號可以接收。

最大的特點是其運動感應技術，內置三軸加速度器和紅外線傳感。讓玩家能夠模擬真實的動作，例如揮動手把就能搖晃、旋轉、傾斜、指向、模擬揮拳、揮棒、駕駛等動作。另外還有振動反應，強化真實感。

與主機的對頻連線：

Wii主機的控制器，是透過無線連接與主機進行通信。還可以與Wii遙控器感應條（Sensor Bar）一同使用，放置在電視機上，用來幫助控制器進行位置和方向確認。與Wii主機配對的方式取決於控制器的類型。以下是不同Wii控制器的配對方式：

普通控制器（Wii Remote）/ 內建感應控制器（Wii Remote Plus）：

首先，先確保主機和控制器都已開啟。再分別打開控制器背部的電池蓋跟主機的SD卡槽蓋，會看到內部下方有紅色的SYNC按鈕。先按控制器的SYNC按鈕，再立即按下主機上的SYNC按鈕。需要在短時間內完成按下的動作。當成功配對，控制器的四個指示燈就會亮起。

Wii U Pro控制器(Wii U Pro Controller)：

經典的控制器，無需進行對頻。只需連接到Wii U主機，就能立即使用。

左控制器（Wii Nunchuke）：

俗稱雞腿手把，不需要單獨個別的對頻程序。只需將左控制器插入已經完成配對的Wii控制器底部插槽。顏色有白、黑、紅。須注意配對Wii控制器只需進行一次，除非需要運用於不同的Wii主機上。

種類：

動感內建（Motion Inside）：

動感內建的控制器外殼下方會有類似微笑的標誌，上面標示"Motion Inside"的字體。內建控制器跟普通控制器一樣大小，移動起來更輕巧，也不用擔心動感強化器會脫落的問題。內建手把的顏色有白、藍、黑、粉紅色、還有瑪利歐25周年限定款紅色跟薩爾達黃金色。果凍套的顏色主要有透明跟黑色兩種。

Wii控制器的互動方式開啟全新的遊戲體驗。可玩許多經典遊戲如《Wii運動》(Wii Sports)、《薩爾達傳說：曙光公主 (黎明公主/黃昏公主/暮光公主)》(The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess)、《超級瑪利歐銀河》(Super Mario Galaxy)等，充分利用了其運動感應技術，讓玩家們能夠更自然進行動作。另外也支援家庭派對類型遊戲，例如《Wii派對》(Wii Party)和《瑪利歐賽車》(Mario Kart Wii)。

遊戲配件：

瑪利歐及路易吉控制器(Wii U Remote Plus Mario/Luigi Edition)：2013年11月21日上市，售價$3,981日圓。有瑪利歐或路易吉的主題設計，用來紀念任天堂的經典角色，還有推出兩隻同捆版，售價$6,076日圓。外殼跟果凍套的顏色分別為紅色跟綠色，手繩分別是藍色跟深藍色。

耀西控制器(Wii U Remote Plus Yoshi Edition)：2014年5月29日推出，售價$3,981日圓。有耀西的恐龍蛋標誌，紀念這隻可愛的瑪利歐夥伴。果凍套跟手繩都是鮮綠色。

碧姬公主控制器(Wii U Remote Plus Princess Peach Edition)：2014年5月29日上市，售價$3,981日圓。外殼有皇冠的貼圖，控制器、果凍套跟手繩均為粉紅色。

庫巴控制器(Wii U Remote Plus Koopa Edition)：2015年3月12日上市，售價$3,981日圓。是二手市價最高的限定款控制器，採前黃後綠色的設計，果凍套跟手繩的顏色均是龜殼綠。

奇諾比奧控制器(Wii U Remote Plus Toad Edition)：2015年3月12日上市，售價$3,981日圓。奇諾比奧是碧姬公主的貼身臣子，在Wii U首次出現他的獨立遊戲。控制器有其迷你頭像，採前白後藍色的設計，果凍套跟手繩是白色。

How to Connect with the Console: Connecting a Wii Remote to the Wii console is a straightforward process:

Make sure both the Wii console and the Wii Remote are powered on.

Open the battery cover on the back of the Wii Remote. Inside, you should see a red SYNC button.

On the Wii console, open the front panel's SD card slot cover. Inside, there should be another red SYNC button.

Press and release the SYNC button on the Wii Remote, and then quickly press and release the SYNC button on the Wii console. Both buttons should be pressed within a short time of each other.

If successful, the Wii Remote's four indicator lights should light up, indicating that it is paired and connected to the console.
