Players can freely switch between the four main characters, each possessing unique abilities: Sonic can perform high-speed dashes, Tails can hover with his flight gadgets, Knuckles excels at climbing and breaking obstacles, while Amy wields a hammer for combat and can navigate hidden pathways.
