One of Konami's most classic games, the Castlevania series has spanned various platforms with numerous sequels. The protagonist, Simon Belmont, sets out to rescue his beloved, who has been kidnapped by Dracula, armed with a whip and ready to challenge the castle. "Castlevania: Judgment" is the first installment in the series released on the Wii and introduces a fighting game format. It brings together iconic heroes and villains from the series, including the original vampire hunter Simon Belmont, Maria Renard (Summon Four Holy Beasts), the half-vampire noble Alucard, and the ultimate villain Dracula, in a chaotic time-warped battle. When the power meter is full, pressing the designated button unleashes a powerful special move. Familiar weapons for vampire hunter characters, such as knives, axes, holy water, and crosses, are available, and breaking candelabras replenishes the weapon hearts.
