1988年8月30日，Hudson製作及發行的PCE遊戲《魔神英雄傳》（魔神英雄伝ワタル/ Majin Eiyuu Den Wataru / Keith Courage in Alpha），這款遊戲是以同名卡通在電視上播放的故事為基礎製作的，動感的音樂和角色動作是當年許多動漫迷的回憶。

故事描述日本小學四年級學生戰部渡（戦部ワタル），為拯救魔神世界而展開冒險。海外版則是地球被來自外星的奇怪物種入侵，並企圖佔領全世界。主角是NICE（地球國際公民組織）的成員，有一半機械的結構。透過去世的父親所給予的神秘力量能啟動超強的裝備。

遊戲總共有七個世界，有Rock Zone、Reverse Zone、Fire Zone、Toxic Zone、Glacier Zone、Magic Zone、Robo Zone。每個關卡都有頭目需要擊敗。

畫面分成取得情報和購物的階段（地上世界）以及龍神丸與敵人戰鬥（地下世界）。每關分為兩大類：前半段是取得情報和購物，後段是戰鬥為主的龍神丸階段。大部分的屋子都是提供資訊，比較重要的是花錢找火美子來補充體力，要跟老爺爺購買變玉，之後的龍神丸才能發射子彈。在第一關要花100金弊入手變玉才能召喚出龍神丸。

在遊戲中，使用方向鍵進行移動。按上鍵可進入門內，按下鍵可蹲下。I鍵用於跳躍，II鍵用於攻擊。按S鍵可返回上個舞台。在戰鬥中，按下II鍵和上鍵可發射魔球。不必害怕從背後出現的敵人，當敵人從背後接近時，只需向前揮劍即可將其擊倒。

遊戲中有許多秘技。若要進入功能選項模式，在開場畫面閃爍時，按住控制器的Ⅰ、Ⅱ、選擇鈕和RUN鈕。等到出現"開始"的字樣後，再按方向鍵上方8次即可。這會進入"DEBUG MENU"，可以在此選擇關卡、劍的等級、金錢和魔球的數量，還可以進行音效測試。劍的威力最高可調到5，最強威力的劍在後期需要大量金錢才能購買。代表生命的紅心數量最高可提升到八，螺旋炸彈（魔球）最多可攜帶99個，金幣最多持有9999枚。

若不想聽到聲音，可在功能選項模式中，使用II鍵將SOUND調到06，按下選擇鈕，然後再將EFFECT調到30，再按下一次選擇鈕，即可消除聲音。

在遊戲中，只要擊敗敵人就會掉落金幣，擊敗金色招財貓竟然可以獲得200金幣。然而，它們通常隱藏在各處，等待玩家尋找。

金色招財貓出現的地方是：第3關為第1個，第4關為第2個，第5關為第4個，第6關為第1個，第7關為第2個，總計出現16隻招財貓。在第1關和第2關中，是不會有金色招財貓出現的。

讓最後一關的頭目僵硬的方法是，當頭目從房間上方跳下時，只需從畫面左邊跳到右邊，同時按住右鍵。這樣一來，敵人就無法動彈。

The game holds nostalgic memories for many anime fans due to its vibrant music and impressive character animations.

The story follows Wataru Ikusabe, a fourth-grade student in Japan, on an adventure to save the magical world of Mashin. In the overseas version, Earth is invaded by strange creatures from outer space attempting to conquer the world. The protagonist is a member of NICE (Nebula Intelligence Control and Eliminations), with half-mechanical structure, utilizing mysterious powers inherited from his deceased father to activate powerful equipment.

The game features seven worlds: Rock Zone, Reverse Zone, Fire Zone, Toxic Zone, Glacier Zone, Magic Zone, and Robo Zone, each with a boss to defeat.

The gameplay is divided into two phases: obtaining information and shopping in the above-ground world and battling with Ryuujinmaru against enemies in the underground world. Each level consists of two main parts, with most houses providing information. It's crucial to spend money on Hiromi to replenish health and purchase Varim's beads from the old man, enabling Ryuujinmaru to shoot bullets. In the first level, spending 100 coins is necessary to summon Ryuujinmaru.

Controls involve using arrow keys for movement, up key to enter doors, down key to crouch, I key to jump, and II key to attack. Pressing the S key allows returning to the previous stage. During battles, pressing II and up keys enables shooting magic balls. There is no need to fear enemies approaching from behind; swinging the sword forward will defeat them.

Numerous secret techniques are available in the game. To enter the function option mode, hold down the controller's I, II, select, and RUN buttons when the opening screen flickers. After the "start" message appears, press the arrow key upwards eight times. This will access the "DEBUG MENU," allowing the selection of levels, sword levels, money, and the quantity of magic balls. It also includes an option for sound testing. The sword's power can be adjusted to a maximum of 5, with the most powerful sword requiring a significant amount of money in the later stages. The maximum number of red hearts representing life can be increased to eight, and spiral bombs (magic balls) can be carried up to 99, while the maximum number of coins is 9999.

For those who do not want to hear the sound, in the function option mode, use the II key to adjust SOUND to 06, press the select button, then adjust EFFECT to 30, and press the select button again to eliminate the sound.

In the game, defeating enemies results in dropping coins. Surprisingly, defeating a golden beckoning cat awards 200 coins. However, they are usually hidden throughout the game, waiting for players to discover them.

The appearance locations of golden beckoning cats are as follows: the first appears in the third level, the second in the fourth level, the fourth in the fifth level, the first in the sixth level, and the second in the seventh level, totaling 16 golden beckoning cats. However, in the first and second levels, no golden beckoning cats will appear.

To immobilize the final boss in the last level, when the boss jumps down from the room above, simply jump from the left side of the screen to the right while holding down the right key. This way, the enemy will be unable to move.
