Key items include engines (Big Wings, Jet Engine, Turbo Engine, Rocket Engine), weapons (Wide Beam, Laser Beam, Seven-Way Shot Gun), bombs (Twin Bomb, Smart Bomb, Fire Bomb, Heavy Bomb), and secondary machines to enhance firepower.

The game consists of 8 stages: Plaleaf, Tabas, La Dune, Dolimicca, Polaria, Mockstar, Pocarius, and Salfar. It is necessary to defeat the boss of each stage to progress to the next one. Although there is no time limit, the screen continuously advances. The later ports of the game added more stages.

The game's difficulty is quite high, and the PCE version includes some hidden cheats to make the adventure easier. In the Japanese version, becoming invincible involves pausing the game and entering a specific button sequence: I, II, II, Up three times, Down four times, Right five times, Left six times. The corresponding action in the U.S. version is to pause the game and enter the button sequence: II, I, I, Up three times, Down four times, Right five times, Left six times. This code needs to be entered on each stage, and a successful entry is indicated by an audio cue.

Dealing with the challenging enemy Popoz requires clearing the small bullets at the front first. In the second round, after knocking out two bullets, start dodging, and when he runs out of ammunition, defeat him. Try to lure him downward to avoid bouncing money.

For the second boss, Boranda, in the second stage, wait for him to shoot a large number of bullets, get close, and shoot rapidly at the nine o'clock position for a quick victory.

In the fourth stage, you encounter the Warm Kouryu dragon. Watch for the timing of its wrist movement, continuously press RUN to extend the hand longer, and then use a bomb to attack the eye.

Facing the third boss, Kababich, in the third stage, throw heavyweight bombs towards his lowest position for a one-hit kill. Against the fourth boss, Gulaboka, when he starts shooting, use three bombs to secure victory. For the final boss, when the tentacles appear, get close to eliminate the first and second ones. When the third one appears, throw a bomb in the bottom left corner of the screen to destroy all tentacles.

Additionally, when facing the first boss, Stangaron, no part is vulnerable, and for the fourth stage, the tentacles won't fall off if hit, but other parts won't work.
