在一開始的村莊，可以與商人交談 就能取得200G，在跟旁邊的武將交談，就會加入隊伍。早期加入的武將都很弱，很快就可以丟棄。一次可以攜帶七名武將，其他成員可以進行存放，隨著後期有更強角色加入，隊伍陣容會持續變動。須注意除了主要的五虎將如關羽、張飛、趙雲、馬超、黃忠，還有諸葛亮、關興、張苞都會持續升級，其他大部分武將都是固定級數。

能上戰場的有五位武將，擁有較高智力的軍師，會讓我方擁有更強的謀略攻擊(SP)，被設定為軍事的武將是不會出現在戰場上。需要隨時注意武將的資料，有時候戰鬥結束，會有敵軍想加入，這時候需要贈送金錢或是無償，如果太弱可直接放生。當我方有人死亡，需要購買每個100G的道具復活丹(Resurrect)，使用後就能重生，若將復活丹放在死掉武將身上，就需移轉到還活著的武將使用。之後可以購買移動到各城門的道具，可以省下大量移動的時間。在移動的時候，會消耗兵糧，如果不注意會造成兵力減損。兵糧可以到商店購買，若兵力越多，則需要購買更多兵糧。

Pay attention to generals' details after battles, as enemy generals may want to join you. You may need to give money or let them join freely. If they are too weak, you can release them. If someone in your team dies, you need to buy a resurrection pill for 100G to revive them. If the pill is placed on a dead general, it must be transferred to a living one for use. You can buy items to quickly move between city gates, saving travel time. While traveling, grain is consumed, which, if ignored, can reduce your forces. Grain can be purchased in stores, with larger armies requiring more.

A game design flaw is that saving requires visiting a city's store, so remember to save after defeating a gatekeeping general and check the experience needed to level up. The script has two main parts: the early expansion under Liu Bei, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei, and later campaigns led by the Five Tiger Generals and Zhuge Liang against Wu and Wei. The game begins with the Yellow Turban Rebellion, followed by battles against Dong Zhuo, Yuan Shu, Yuan Shao, the conquest of Jingzhou, and the establishment of Shu. After Liu Bei becomes emperor, he remains in the palace handling state affairs. The game does not include the Battle of Red Cliffs, and defeating Cao Cao is not the final objective; the ultimate goal is to defeat Sun Quan and Sima Yi to unify China.

遊戲有一個特定地區落鳳坡，當打敗西蜀的劉璋後，注意看下方是否有八個格子的空區，在那就會出現大量綠色血格的士兵，在那持續練兵就能在最短時間提升級數，但是級數不能提高到最強，否則系統會出現bug，當最後要打司馬懿，就可能無法使用謀略，要特別注意。另一個需要注意的地方，就是當三顧茅廬諸葛亮時，對話交談時要有耐心，等他慢慢說完再按確認，否則會被認為沒誠意，而無法招募。

其他的隱藏寶物有:1.赤兔馬的取得方式是先到介於洛陽跟徐州中間有兩個關口，在第一個關口(位在張角鐵門峽下方)，是由華雄看守，這時站在門上，移動到下面一步後，往左移動八步，看到石頭後繞過後調查。2.七星刀:拿到鑰匙後，在洛陽城左上角的一間屋內，會看到顏色特別的紅磚，然後展開調查就能取得。

Here, a large number of soldiers with green health bars will appear, allowing for rapid leveling, but not to the maximum, as this may cause a bug preventing the use of tactics against Sima Yi in the final battle. Another critical point is to be patient when recruiting Zhuge Liang by the Three Visits to the Thatched Cottage; interrupting him may result in failure to recruit.

Hidden treasures include:

Red Hare: To acquire it, go to the first gate guarded by Hua Xiong between Luoyang and Xuzhou. Move one step down from the gate, then eight steps left, and investigate around the stone.

Seven-Star Sword: After obtaining the key, go to the upper left house in Luoyang and investigate the distinct red brick to acquire it.
